We just wanted to reach out and give an update on Spay Today. Even though the clinic is closed, we are still dedicated to our original mission of help the overpopulation of pets in Eastern NC. While in the past it was through our clinic that we were able to help this mission, now we are having to adapt.

Spay Today will remain a non-profit organization but will be focusing on fundraising to help existing programs that assist with low-cost spay and neuter. We are happy to announce that our first partner in this new venture is with Pet Food Pantry of Eastern NC.

Happy Meet Me Monday
This week we have Ace from Greene County Animal Shelter.

Ace came in as an owner surrender due to NO fault of his own. They could no longer care and keep him contained.
Ace is estimated as a 4 year old male, Hound mix. Ace was surrendered to us due to NO fault of his own, they could no longer care and keep him contained. Ace is a sweet loving boy that loves hoomans. He is a small petite boy (20-25lbs) that is full of love and life, he is a grinner also. He is a certified escapee, so an inside home would do best for him. Ace is a super friendly boy that gets along with both male and female dogs. He would do best in a home that is experienced and knowledgeable with the breed. An active home or family would be great due to he is a high energy boy that loves to run and explore.

We wanted to let everyone know about our updated TNR policy. Moving forward, we will schedule ferals only on the first and last Thursday of every month. We will only be doing ferals these days (meaning cats that come in a trap). This will allow us to do up to 25-30 ferals on those days, meaning that we can fix more ferals in a month than we have in the past.

We will still be scheduling TNR appointments as usual; it will just be on those days.
If you are part of the county TNR program, this will not affect you.

Please reach out to [email protected] with any questions or concerns.
