Attended the NA Stallion Sport Test this past weekend as a spectator. It was a great weekend at the lovely Hilltop Farm, and the weather was perfect. It was fun watching the stallions be presented under their own riders and a guest rider.

Finally got updated photos of Va Lida our 2021 Westfalen filly by Viscerado. She was started under-saddle earlier this year and is coming along nicely.

Last weekend I took Ferry (Ferdeaux / Uphill) to the VADAF show at Rose Mount Farm. I was so proud of her behavior in a busy show environment. It's been a big change for her going from a career broodmare to a riding horse :) She got terrific compliments from the judges, including talented horse, expressive and elastic. Looking forward to the future with this sweet mare. A big thanks to Ponease and their Calmer for helping Ferry to stay relaxed and focused!

Photos of Freya (For Dance / Ferdeaux) from the Young Horse Show earlier this month. Scores included an 8.3 for trot, 7.9 for canter and 8.1 overall impression, with comments on her lovely feminine type, very good activity, suspension, freedom of shoulder, and springs in her hocks!

Great outing with Freya today at the Young Horse Show. She placed 2nd in a huge yearling class, and had one of the highest in-hand scores of the whole show! Most proud of how well behaved she was for her first solo outing off the farm, such a special filly.

Earlier this month we took yearlings Freya (For Dance / Ferdeaux) and Eva (Epic Eastwood / Ferro) to the VADA-CH Dressage show for their first ever in-hand show, and they did wonderfully. Freya placed 2nd in the yearling filly class with great comments and a score of 8 for her walk! She went on to place 3rd in the Filly Championship. Eva won the yearling filly class with scores of 7.9 for her trot and general impression and a comment of Lots to Appreciate! She went on to be Reserve Champion in the Filly Championship! A big thank you to Bruce Griffin III for making their first outing such a positive one!

Last month I took Ferry (Ferdeaux / Uphill) to her first ever dressage shows. The first one she was figuring out the show scene, but we still received positive comments from the judge. The second one she was terrific, and earned a score of 76%, which was one of the highest scores of the day! Can't wait to see what the future holds for this talented mare. Thank you to Ponease and their Calmer for helping Ferry stay focused at the shows!

Wanted to share my positive experience with Ponease products. Kaiya has been on Ponease since it became available in the US last year. I've seen fabulous results, especially when I go to overnight shows. I just administer Ponease Maintenance in the morning and before I ride to coat her stomach. It really seems to help and she is much more settled and eats all her food while we are away. She's not always the best about syringing, so I experimented with adding the recommended dose of Maintenance to her feed, and she ate it right up and I saw the same results.
