Our sweet dachshund puppy, Julia, came in for her spay procedure at Mill Creek Veterinary Clinic today. The staff couldn't resist showering her with love (and maybe a few organic, single ingredient treats). Now she's all cozy in her post-surgery recovery suit and ready to rest up at home!

This afternoon, the amazing improv group, Bent Theatre Comedy, joined our team for a session on communication skills! We laughed, we learned, and most importantly, we strengthened our ability to connect with each other and our clients.

We've recently welcomed a whole menagerie of adorable patients! We've got irresistible pups like Little Bit and Chewbacca and cute kitties like Figgy and Sleepy Joe. Did you know we also care for bearded dragons like the beautiful Ember in the picture, as well as guinea pigs like the charming Abner?

On April 6th our hearts, our cups, and our clinic were full! Mill Creek Veterinary Clinic was buzzing with happy faces - new friends, old friends, and our wonderful families. We're grateful for the incredible turnout at our Open House and humbled by our community's support! A huge thank you to the warm and welcoming community of Mill Creek, Charlottesville, and beyond. We recently saw our first scaly patient at MCVC - a spunky baby bearded dragon named Roni! Our own Dr. Scheller has a special place in her heart for these fascinating creatures - she even had two bearded dragons, Nubby and Monty, throughout college and vet school! (She's also had a giant apple snail named Theo!)

Dr. Scheller, Dr . Sims, and our entire team are passionate about providing excellent care to ALL creatures, big and small, with scales, feathers, or fur. We can help with:
