UPDATE FROM THE POUND: He is very well mannered,he'll sit and shake upon command,also good with other dogs.

This handsome boy is in the Pittsylvania County Pound and his hold time is up which means if he is not reclaimed by his owner, adopted or rescued he can be put down at anytime. He is estimated to be 1-2 years old 40lbs by the aco and has a good temperment. Please help by sharing his information in hopes of his owner seeing him or someone will want to adopt. He was picked up as a stray on Riverbend Road believe that to be a Danville address but in the county. The SPCA of Pittsylvania County has shared with other rescues but there are so many of his breed in need of saving all over the country no help has been offered. The SPCA of Pittsylvania Co is foster based and no foster room available until we have adoptions at this time. If you have room in your home and heart please contact us and we will send you a foster application and hope together we can save his life. Please share far and wide he is out of time!!!

Sharing dogs in shelters is a great way to try and help them..but to write horrible comments about the shelters and the people that work there, serves no purpose. Most of the folks I know that work in shelters do everything they can to try and help save the animals ..I do not agree with kill shelters at all..and do all I can to try and share the animals that they share with me. Please don't make it so that shelters won't share because of nasty calls and comments...instead use your finger to share and stop using it to negatively impact the animals in the shelters. If it wasn't for a caring a/c ofc hogan would not be here today...lets circle the wagons for the greater good and work together....it is pawsable!!!♥♥♥♥
