Looking for a loyal, loving companion with the most expressive eyes and a heart full of joy? Look no further—Minnie is here to steal your heart! This sweet pup is all about her humans and thrives on making them happy. ❤️

Minnie’s favorite things include belly rubs, showing off her excellent manners (she knows “sit” and walks beautifully on a leash!), and soaking up all the love she can. She’s food-motivated, kennel-trained, and sleeps soundly through the night. Minnie gets along with other dogs but prefers calm, respectful pups—or she’s perfectly content being your one and only fur baby.

✨ Important Medical Info:
Minnie has been through a lot, including the removal of four mast cell tumors, and she’s healing like a champ. While she’ll need monitoring for any future lumps or bumps, Minnie still has so much love and life to give.

❄️ Meet Yeti: The One-Eyed Wonder Husky! ❄️

Yeti is a 2-year-old Siberian Husky with a story as unique as his sweet personality. Found tied up with little room to move, this resilient pup has left his tough past behind and is ready to find his forever home!

Despite his name, Yeti is still learning to love Minnesota winters after moving here from Alabama. Regardless, his favorite word is “outside,” and he absolutely loves going for walks, playing fetch, and watching the bunnies in the yard. When he’s not outside, you’ll find him snoozing on the couch while his foster mom works or soaking up all the b***y scritches he can get.

Yeti is potty trained, crate-friendly, and does well when his foster mom is away. He’ll need a cat-free home and would love a fenced yard, but daily walks and plenty of playtime will make him just as happy.

From tiny beans to big personalities! Cascade’s kittens, born in our care back in November, are growing up fast—and cuter than ever! They all inherited their mom’s beautiful wide eyes, which, as you can see, were very expressive during their first vet visit. 🥹 (Don’t worry, they were purrfectly brave!)

These little ones are getting closer to starting the next chapter of their lives. Surgery is up next, and after that, they’ll be ready to find their forever families! We have a feeling that step won't take very long! 🐾💖

We partner with local rescues in Minnesota to host joy filled puppy parties. Our goal is to bring more awareness to rescue and adoption. We donate 20% of our proceeds back to our rescue partner to continue helping animals in need. And sometimes adorable adoption stories come from our events! 🐾

Tails wagged, purrs echoed, and hearts were full this weekend! 🐾

Our adoption events were a huge success, with 7 cats and 3 dogs finding their furever homes! And that's not all—there were also pending adoptions and other happy matches made over the weekend! 🎉

A huge thank you to The Dog Nanny Boutique, our incredible staff, fosters, and volunteers for making this possible, and to every adopter who chose to give these animals a second chance. 💙

We had so much fun dressing up Pumpkin Pie for the cold weather ahead— she’s so sweet and snuggly, she didn’t mind one bit. 🥰

Starting February 1st, dog adoption fees at CSHS will increase by $10. This change reflects the addition of Bordetella vaccines to the American Veterinary Medical Association’s (AVMA) core vaccine recommendations for shelter dogs.

While rescues aren’t required to follow the AVMA’s guidance, we pride ourselves on treating CSHS animals like our own. By aligning with these trusted recommendations, we ensure that every dog leaves our care set up for a happy, healthy life.
