We are a dedicated and compassionate staffed facility where lost or homeless animals-and animals seized by authorities in cruelty cases-find safety and comfort, are cared for, provided emergency vet care if injured, and are made available for adoption or rescue if not reclaimed by owners. The shelter office will be closed after 11:30 today 2/14 to the public due to maintenance work as well as loading a large transport. Animal control calls will be ran per normal .

We have accrued quite an outstanding balance on our account at the vet! If you would like to make a donation towards the balance, please click the button below to donate, or donations may also be sent via paypal [email protected] , if sent on paypal please specify "Murray Dogs Vet Fund" . We rely on donations to provide more than the minimum for animals that need a little extra TLC or extensive care that is not in the county's budget. Help us to help them. All donations go towards Murray county animals!

⚠️ATTENTION SPRINGDALE ESTATES ⚠️

We have received multiple complaints about the cat population within this community. It's to the point where we are beginning to set traps in areas the complaints are coming from.

If you have a cat that roams outside, we strongly recommend they be microchipped in the chance they end up in one of our traps. We offer this for $5 at the shelter. It is also very important that they be spayed/neutered, otherwise you are contributing to a problem that will never come to an end.

Meet Lilo & Stitch. This precious sibling duo was left behind after their owner sadly passed away. They really need to find a home indoors, preferably together, but they can be separated. Lilo is extremely vocal and will let you know when she wants your attention. Stitch is a bit of a shy guy, but loves playing once he warms up to you. Both have had flea/worm treatment. $40 adoption fee each OR $65 total if you adopt both of them. This covers their spay/neuter. They are at a staff members house so you will need to set up and appointment to meet then. More pictures will be in the comments!

Lucy and Zala are both wonderful medium sized female dogs in need of a home ! Lucy is approx 30 pounds and came in to the shelter with her babies , who are now weaned and she needs a chance ! Zala is dog and people friendly , approx 32 # .
