If anyone has borrowed a humane trap from us and is finished with it , we need them returned as soon as possible . We are low on them and require them on several calls that are pending . We can also use donations of them if anyone has a spare .

LICENSCED RESCUE OR RESPONSIBLE ADOPTER NEEDED ASAP.

Tinsel & Blizzard are both heartworm- positive male huskies.

They are in need of serious adopters who are financially able to provide adequate treatment for the heartworms, or to be pulled by a licensed rescue.

Both are dominant with other male dogs, but great with females. Not cat friendly.

$75 adoption fee , which includes neuter appointment and rabies vaccine . No fee for licensed rescue to pull.

Tinsel - Grey & White, 63 #, 2 years old.

Blizzard - White , 50 # , 2 years old.

Meet Lilac and Ponyo!

These two cannot catch a break. First they were picked up alongside two dogs and Lilac's youngest kittens, who went up north a couple weeks ago. It took their "owner" a week to even notice they were gone!

Lilac and Ponyo waited patiently for their turn at a home. We were over the moon when they were adopted together and hoped to only see them again through pictures of them living their best life. Unfortunately that did not happen. They were brought back within the week for doing things cats do, such as "knocking over jewelry".

Now they are once again waiting . They are young (even the mom) and very affectionate. They don't have to go together but it does have to be an inside home.

Adoption fee for each is $40. Or $40/$20 if adopted together.

⚠️ DIAMOND WAY/EMERALD PARKWAY ⚠️

This is a reminder that the laws of containment apply to cats, as well. We have received many calls from that area due to being overrun with cats. Complaints of spraying, mating, causing damages to vehicles , etc. We've been working on the situation but unfortunately it is a slow process due to having very limited space for cats and lack of other resources.

If you live in that area, please do not allow your cat(s) to run the subdivision, but especially if they are NOT fixed. Unfixed cats and unsocialized "strays" are what is in the most danger of being picked up from there.

We have been asked lately a few times what we are in the most need of at this time;

1. Dry cat and kitten food ( Meow Mix seems to be the most liked ) . WET cat food as well, friskies is a favorite

2. Dry puppy food ( Purina/ Iams /Pedigree are our base brands in the mix)

3. Carpet Samples ! We can use carpet samples at least 1 1/2 by 2 ft size, anything that can fit in a crate from small- XL size.

4. Cardboard flats / "trays", we use shallow carboard structures as litterboxes on our transport vans, they are efficient and disposable. We go through dozens of these at a time and can always use them.

5. Cleaning supplies ; dawn, laundry soap / pods , spray cleaning products, scrubbers, etc.

6. Dog houses, we can accept gently used or new dog houses as donations. We provide these when we have them available to dogs with no adequate shelter we encounter in the field.

We have filled up all available appointments for $20 spay / neuter vouchers. We would again like to extend our most sincere gratitude and thanks to the Lovett-Woodsum Foundation and additional donors, for making this community outreach possible.

We also want to applaud all members of our community who put a foot in the right direction by ensuring their personal animals will not be contributing to the pet overpopulation in this area.

One day at a time, one surgery at a time, we can all work together to make a difference.
