The goal of CHAI LIFE Pet Nutrition market is to offer high quality foods, supplements, and products which improves the life and health of the pets whose parents shop with us. Chattanooga Holistic Animal Institute opened the market in 2022 after hearing the frustration of our clients and friends related to the difficulties they faced in locating and understanding the foods they were feeding to their pets. Our clients wanted and needed a safe place to find reliable and quality products that they could feel confident in offering to their pets. We wanted to offer a place where anyone could come and feel empowered to shop any of our products and know that each one was specifically selected by our holistic veterinarian. Our highly trained retail manager has worked closely with Dr. Smith since 2013 and is excited to have the opportunity to assist our shoppers with any questions they may have. She and her entire staff are eager to be of service. CHAI Life market will also special order any products that we do not carry in order to serve our clients better.

🚨EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT!
HES is working on launching a new program that will allow folks to "check out" a dog to take on a small field trip around Chattanooga! Programs like this give dogs a small break from the hustle and bustle of living in the shelter, which is highly beneficial for their overall mental health. It's also a fun way for our community to get involved and have fun with our pups. But first, we need to come up with a name for the program! That's where you come in. On Saturday, August 17 at a staff members house, a stray cat was hit by a car. She went out to check on the status of the victim who was deceased. While removing the body from the scene, she noticed that the cat had been nursing and so the search began for orphaned kittens. These two were found tucked safely under a nearby bush and so the bottle feeding and round the clock care began. There eyes have not opened yet so we know they are less than a week old and most likely 2-3 days old. We would love it if you’d follow their story as we try desperately to save them and grow them into adoptable kittens who will find amazing homes. Kittens at this very early age have a very hard time surviving even with experienced care so please send good energy to aid in their success. We will post updates regularly along the way so you can follow their journey! We have named them Joey (gray tabby) and Chandler (gray and white) so please put your support behind these adorable guys as we do all we can to help them survive.

Meet Conrad (Connie), he is CHAI Life’s brand ambassador and head of the welcome committee. He is still a puppy and has not yet developed control of his inside voice so his welcome bark can be loud but it’s only from excitement to meet you. He is still learning social interaction skills but has graduated from puppy classes with flying colors. He is a good boy whose enthusiasm for visitors sometimes overwhelms his social grace but be assured, he is a sweet boy and loves humans!
