Leprechaun went in for a check-up yesterday. After a thorough inspection, he decided this place was acceptable and the vet probably knows what she’s talking about since she gave him lots of praise. 😉 He is 7.11 lbs and has been cleared for surgery to amputate his arm. PS: he was less impressed with the vet tech, but only because she was the one who had to treat his ear mites.

Last year I decided to take a couple of weeks off. I ended up taking eight months. I’m back now, with a new foster at a new organization with some old friends! I’d like to introduce you to Leprechaun. He is approximately one year old and came in as a stray with a badly dislocated shoulder and degloved lip. His arm will have to be amputated but he has to gain some weight first. He’s been a dream guest and an easy transition back into things.

The boys had a check-up today and are doing really well. They’ve been a little small for their age since I got them, but they recently had a growth spurt. Ringo is still a tad on the small side, so we are just waiting for him to catch up to his brothers before we schedule surgery.

Po & Tinky-Winky are at weight and will be having their spay/neuter surgeries tomorrow morning. Po is my outgoing boy who loves to play and is the best at snuggling. Tinky-Winky is a little more shy than her brother, but she’s the sweetest girl. It seems like they’ve been here so long! I’ll miss these two a lot.
