Be kind. We are the mothers and fathers to all of humanity.

This gentleman is getting out of his SUV and sees these two kids, one pushing his broken bike.
He stops everything he is doing literally in the pouring rain and spent 5 minutes getting drenched fixing it for little man… they rode off happy and he just left with a smile on his face.. gave us one too! 💙

We had a great weekend at Repticon Atlanta!

Since we completely sold out at the Repticon Chattanooga, we decided to bring twice as many built enclosures with us this time and we still only came home with one.

This was also the first show where we’ve carried our own proprietary substrate and leaf litter and we sold several bags of both.

We also brought more plants to this show, including some really unique and uncommon stuff that Marisa picked up from our friend Mark’s greenhouse and almost all of it went on the very first day.

Now it’s time to start propagating and building for the next one. Thank you Atlanta, See you again in July!

***MIC CHECK…Your attention please***

So I told you a couple of days ago, that we had a big announcement coming and here it is.

For the last few months we have been working on our own proprietary substrates. Today we are announcing that we are bringing the first of those products to market.

After spending untold amounts of time and energy, we have developed what we believe to be a superior product to that of even our biggest competitors. A no filler, no fluff, fully loaded substrate that is free of inactive ingredients and doesn’t require the add-on cost of a “booster” product to maximize the benefit of its potential. This first blend is designed for humid bioactive environments suitable to the largest majority of those of us in the hobby. An arid mix will be soon to follow.

In doing so, we have partnered with another local business here in the Chattanooga area, Urban Horticulture & Supply, who will be mixing our formula and bagging it in both 2.5 and 5 lb. bags. This will be available both at shows, on our website, and also in store at Urban Horticulture & Supply here in Chattanooga TN.

Welcome to the new business page. Our old SCBR account was a repurposed backup profile for my personal page and it also wasn’t able to be directly linked to the SCBR Instagram. Because of our increasingly rapid growth, and subsequent social media exposure, we made the decision to rip the band-aid off now, and make these changes as painless as possible for everyone.
