Charlie E-collar
Charlie is killing it with her Peak program! In this video, I show you how we use e-collars appropriately, efficiently, and in a non-invasive way!
This collar used muscle stimulation, no shock at all! As you can see, once I gave Charlie the reminder that she needs to stay by my left leg, she positioned herself right back to how she is supposed to be. We love e-collars and all the benefits that come with them!
Mojo 9 weeks old
Mojo is getting the hang of "sit" and "down"!
Clara, E-Collar
Meet Clara! Clara is my e-collar practical dog. Clara is so loving and affectionate, but when Clara is done working, she is tired of it! Clara has taught me to keep my training exciting, unpredictable, and precisely planned in order for us to get the most out of our time together . In the video, Clara is demonstrating "Place" while wearing her e-collar with various distractions in the barn. Clearly, she aced it! The e-collar is a fabulous tool that I can use to communicate with Clara, especially from a distance. Clara has grown to love wearing her e-collar , because she knows she is about to get a ton of treats and we are going to have fun!
Great day today doing the beginning steps of search and rescue training(my personal favorite!) Buck, the yellow lab has amazing drive and loves the tug- today we wanted to see if he would find our instructor, Corey. Buck did a phenomenal job and is going to make a great search in rescue dog down the line!
Today we worked on getting Teddy acclimated to doing his "place" command on different surfaces! As you can see, we are still working on full proofing his technique but overall Teddy was a champ today! He was able to place on the fabric cot, the plastic table, and even a corn hole board( not videoed). My main focus is to have Teddy's undivided attention on me, despite the surroundings. Our test is Friday, and I have high hopes for the both of us!
Working on "Heel" with Aspen the Lab today, great day of learning on my end from Highland Canine Training Chattanooga TN. Aspen did phenomenal today!
Had the opportunity this weekend to assist Highland Canine Training Chattanooga TN as she sent two of her clients home after their board and train program. So honored to be able to learn from the best in town!
I may be a little biased, but I would say Zaxby is totally killing it with the place bed! Zaxby has a lot of fear and anxiety, so new large objects typically scare him. He had no issue doing a down stay for me on the place bed! Great job, Zaxby!
Please enjoy a good laugh while watching Oliver attack the hose! Dogs either love the water or stay far from itπ€£πΎπ¦
