It's with a heavy heart that we announce that Robin lost her beloved husband, Gary, earlier this month. He has been fighting kidney disease for nearly a decade. The Client Services Representative is an integral part of the veterinary team. The CSR has the opportunity to begin a fruitful relationship with the customer as the first point of contact. A good first impression is key to building lasting bonds with both the client and patient. Occasionally we have high stress situations which we have the opportunity to diffuse and transition to positive experiences. Good interpersonal communication, attention to detail, the ability to multitask and a positive attitude are essential qualities for an effective CSR. Teamwork is a huge part of the workplace environment at Main St. Pet Wellness Center. We strive to make this a collaborative and positive place for all employees.

The duties of the CSR include but are not limited to:
Answering Phone Calls
-Schedule appointments in the appropriate time slots.
-Handle invoice payments.
-Provide estimates for services.
-Direct medical questions to the appropriate resource, i.e. technician or veterinarian. The CSR will NOT be expected to directly answer medical related questions, such as vaccination schedule or recommendations on specific cases.
-Collect a detailed history for each appointment if a technician is not available to do so.
-Refill prescriptions following veterinarian approval.
-Relaying specific case information under the direction of a veterinarian.

Managing Email/Text Communications
-Management of client emails including appointment and refill requests, questions about cases and transferring of records.
-Follow-up communication for patients that visit ER or Specialty services
-Obtaining previous vet records for new patients.
-Daily use of system software to ensure accurate scheduling for clients with multiple pets

Hospital Maintenance
-Assisting in cleaning rooms between patient visits.
-Routine daily cleaning duties.
-Assisting technicians with patient care as needed.

Hourly pay rate will start at $13/hr with the opportunity to increase based on experience and skill development through on site training. New employees will be eligible for benefits after an initial trial period. These benefits include health insurance with optional dental and vision plans, paid time off and a retirement plan.
