Ever felt that calming presence when around horses? It's not just in your head! Research suggests that being near these majestic creatures can have profound physiological and emotional benefits.

Studies show that interacting with horses can lead to reduced blood pressure, lower heart rate, and increased levels of beta-endorphins, which act as natural pain relievers. Moreover, it's been found to decrease stress, anger, and anxiety while improving social functioning and feelings of empowerment, trust, and patience.

But what's the science behind it? Recent research from the Institute of HeartMath reveals fascinating insights. They found that the heart emits a powerful electromagnetic field, even larger and more intelligent than the brain. In fact, a horse's heart projects an electromagnetic field five times stronger and larger than a human's, capable of directly influencing our own heart rhythm.

This Saturday we will celebrate those who have completed individual sessions within our program and the progress they've each made.

Horses serve as companions to our participants in personal sessions, guided by a licensed counselor and an equine facilitator. After these sessions, we commemorate each individual’s brave journey toward wholeness with a special gift.

In the Bible, there is a story of an overlooked woman who had been suffering for a long time. With courage, she approached Jesus and found healing by touching the hem of his garment, adorned with tassels—a poignant detail of the time. We have chosen this special gift containing tassels to remind those who receive it of their bravery in reaching out, as well as to remind others that healing is within reach.

Join us in thanking the Lord for the healing we've witnessed!
