Poppy and Pearl
Poppy and Pearl have been at the shelter longer than anyone! They arrived when they were two weeks old and they are now four months old. We aren't sure what breed they are, but their mom was medium size and weighs about 35 pounds. We aren't sure who Dad was. We would love to find these sweet girls loving forever homes. They are both very affectionate and well-behaved. They are really good about using the pads in their kennel. they are both very smart girls and would make wonderful additions to anyone's family. We had thought previously that Pearl was blind, but she is definitely not. She chases a laser pointer around like nobody's business! This is Chester's sweet sister Callie🥰❤️ She is desperate for a forever home too. She has been on our site for several weeks and unfortunately we have not had any interest in her or her siblings:( They are such sweet, beautiful dogs. Hate for them to have to grow up in a kennel at the shelter. She was born in July and currently weighs about 28 pounds. If you are interested in giving this sweet girl a forever home then please click the link below to submit an application. She also has another sister who is available named Carley and two brothers named Chester and Chase.

Chase and Chester
Someone left us in quite a predicament recently. A man called and asked if he could surrender 4 Puppies to us and we explained that we only take in small breed dogs & puppies under 25 pounds. He assured us that these dogs weighed between five and 10 pounds and could fit in a shoebox. We agreed to take the puppies and when they arrived, he had them in a wire crate in the back of a pick up truck in the pouring down rain. He brought them in and the dogs already weigh at least 25 pounds and are much larger than we typically house and they will keep getting bigger. We didn't want to send the dogs back in the rain so we agreed to take them. We only have a very limited number of Kennels (6 kennels total) and we had to split the dogs up into two kennels since they are so large and we are already crowded. We are really hoping to find them loving homes quickly. The boys weigh 25 to 27 pounds and the girls weigh between 20 and 25 pounds. Here is a cute video of the two boys. Their names are Chester and Chase. Both are very loving once they get to know you. They were born in July. Hoping some of our Big Dog lovers will see this post and would like to give these sweet boys a home. We are doing an adoption special. The adoption donation for this litter is $200 each and includes spay or neuter surgery, rabies shot, and micro chipping at a later date if you use one of our local clinics. If you would like to meet Chase or Chester or their sweet sisters Carly and Callie then please contact Jennifer at the office at 423-598-2717 or you can click the link below to submit an application. They will be at our adoption event tomorrow at the shelter from 12 PM to 4 PM if you would like to stop by to meet them.
