This past weekend, SAH had the opportunity to participate in Paw Palooza. We encountered many joyful barks of dogs of all shapes and sizes and made friends along the way.
There were vendors selling dog treats and toys, as well as pet adoption booths that gave attendees the chance to find their new best friend. Mckamey hosted a parade of proud pooches, each receiving cheers and applause from the enthusiastic crowd. Overall, Paw Palooza was a heartwarming success, leaving everyone looking forward to next year's event.

As we conclude Tick and Lyme Disease Awareness Month and transition into Heat Awareness, it's essential to take proactive measures.
☀️With warmer months approaching and temperatures rising, ensure your pets remain cool by providing them with fresh water and ample shade.
🐾Remember to never leave pets unattended in vehicles, as temperatures can rise quickly.
☀️Be mindful of hot pavement, which can burn their paws, it’s encouraged to try walking your pets during cooler parts of the day, like early morning or late evening.
🐾As you enjoy the summer months, keep an eye out for signs of heatstroke, such as excessive panting, drooling, or lethargy, and consult your veterinarian if you have any concerns.
☀️Prioritizing your pets' well-being ensures they can enjoy the season safely alongside you.

Panko visited Dr. Perry for his annual check-up and routine lab work. Regular pet lab work is crucial for maintaining the health of pets, similar to its importance for humans. It helps veterinarians identify hidden health issues, enables early detection for timely interventions, and is essential for monitoring chronic conditions. Overall, routine lab tests are vital for and ensuring pets remain happy and healthy.
