โOh my goodness he is the sweetest dog in the world!ย ย I joke we shouldโve named him Shadow because he is one step behind me all day, everyday. He and our daughter are especially close and when he sees her coming he starts grabbing toys for them to play with. Recently when she was sick, Charlie would just go lay on her bed with her. He is the most perfect addition to our family!ย ย Yโall have done an amazing job breeding these dogs. You obviously know each of your dogs and are helping them create the most wonderful blessings for families like ours. You told me how laid back he was and how when your son held him he was just like a ball of mush in his arms; you even sent me a little video so we could see his personality. Let me tell you, he is still just like that. I can pick him up and he just melts into my armsโsweetest dog in the world. It just shows how connected you are to all of these puppies and how much they, and the families they are going to, mean to yโall. We definitely feel we were led to Remedy Ridgeโand one day I hope we will be led back to expand the family againโฆโ
โMachiatto (now scout) is just amazing. i canโt believe he is turning 2!! ๐๐ฅฐ he is honestly the perfect pal! he absolutely LOVES to play ball and swim in our pool (when we heat it this time of year), but will relax and snuggle with us when play time is over. he knows so many words and we talk to him like a person and he responds. he stays home with my husband most days as his emotional support while he works and undergoes cancer treatment. i bring him to my childcare center on occasion and the kids just love having him there. we truly couldnโt have asked for a better boy! ๐โ

โHi Kelly! We wanted to give you an update on Josie (Gypsy). She is doing great. Has a big personality and is the sweetest, goofiest love bug. She is extremely smart and eager to please (very food motivated). She knows how to sit, stay, sit pretty, shake, high five, lay down, rollover and spin. She is doing well with potty training and loves her crate time (highly recommend crate camp to everyone)! She is also doing well walking on a leash. She absolutely adores her big sister and follows her everywhere, but she is also great self entertaining when her sister is resting. I take them to work with me and they are very calm during the day and love seeing all my colleagues and socializing. She is 13.5 lbs. thanks again for sharing her with us, we absolutely love her๐ฅฐโ

โBlue has been a rockstar in his crate! Never an issue at night (since we got him!) and even during the day he does well and responds correctly when he wines. Heโs doing pretty well at walking on a leash too. And heโs learned- sit, come, place, and (obviously) go potty. Heโs super smart!! We love his playful and smart demeanor ๐ฅฐ

We are thrilled to introduce our of miniature Aussiedoodles, born on January 5, 2025, to proud parents Phoebe and Astro! This special theme was chosen by my son, who has a unique bond with Phoebe as his emotional support animal and canine best friend.

โJust wanted to say thanks again for the most precious pup ever! We are all obsessed. Heโs adjusted SO well. He slept through the night in his crate since night 1. Never a peep or whine. Heโs doing amazing with the potty bell and heโs mastering all the basic commands already - heโs so smart and attentive - we are just so impressed!

Our #PokemonLitter has officially reached 4 weeks old, and they are now up, running, and full of curiosity! This is such an exciting stage as their little personalities are starting to shine, and they are eager to explore the world around them.
To support their development, weโve introduced a variety of toys to keep them entertained, encourage mobility, and gently desensitize them to different textures. Each toy and texture serves a purpose, helping the puppies build confidence, coordination, and adaptability. As they grow we keep adding different ones!
As part of our curriculum, these experiences ensure the puppies grow into well-rounded companions who can navigate their environments with ease and curiosity. Watching them tackle new challenges and interact with their surroundings is my definition of pure joy ๐ฅฐ

Our #LegendaryTales litter is truly something special, and weโre thrilled to share that weโre holding back Lancelotโa once-in-a-lifetime pup and a true breederโs dream!
Iโve waited years to reach this point in my programโฆyears of careful planning, dedication, and prayer. Building Remedy Ranch Aussiedoodles has been a labor of love, and itโs taken time to cultivate the right pairings, temperaments, and health testing to produce puppies like Lancelot. This boy embodies everything Iโve worked so hard for, heโs a perfect representation of his AKC-certified therapy parents, Kimber and Kuna.
Lancelot is a BET (blue-eyed tri) with 10/10 copper intensity, the perfect touch of Irish spotting, and he carries brown which will allow him to create rainbow litters. Heโll be the perfect size around 25 lbs (we like our males a bit smaller than our females so they can have easy breedings and labors).
Lancelot has the best of both his parentsโ traits: heโs loving, easygoing, confident, and perfectly sensitive. His content wagging tail is one of my favorite things about him! His balanced nature is a match made in heaven for our therapy lines.
As if by divine intervention, Lancelotโs guardian home found us almost immediately. While getting my hair done shortly after his birth, my amazing hairdresser showed me a picture of the exact kind of dog sheโd always dreamed of which was an image that perfectly resembled Lancelot. It was as if God placed him in her lap, and I couldnโt be more grateful for how everything aligned so perfectly.
This boy is destined for greatness, and Iโm beyond excited for his future as part of our program and therapy lines. ๐ค

Not the best light or most glamorous video but hereโs a little peak into crate camp and some of the wonderful benefits crate training has on a dog! We offer this add on camp to anyone getting a puppy from us so they donโt have to go through 10 days of little sleep (the usual amount of time it takes to crate break a puppy) by introducing them to their crates over a 12 day course beginning in very small increments. We use lots of rewards and create positive associations with crates by doing meals, treats and using praise for good behavior (not whining or barking). Listen along for all the other benefits crate training offers. The video got cut off due to time limits but I also discuss how crate training helps with potty training (we keep a pee pad in case they go before their 3-5 AM let out so they donโt sit in their own poo or pee since they donโt have bladder control yet. I also talked about safety because when we leave our homes or donโt have our eyes on our puppies, they could be getting into something they shouldnโt. ๐ค
โจOh the future of Remedy Ridge couldnโt look any brighter with our upcoming stud, Atreyu passing all his testing with flying colors! Atreyu is that one in a million dog. He is such a sweetheart and is so laid back, even for a poodle which we just love because heโs still willing to get up and go on a run or hike but demonstrates the perfect composed ability for therapy & service work. Even his breeder said he had an old soul and what he has achieved before even hitting one years old is just incredible! The rest of the credit goes to Katie (pictured) with @pawsitivetransformations whoโs been working with him to get him to this point! She is truly incredible. Hurray Atreyu, an official Canine Good Citizen, advanced Canine Good Citizen, and Urban CGC! He will qualify for his therapy license once heโs one with all of these pre reqs! Woohoo!! ๐ค๐ค๐คโจ

Remedy Ridge Aussiedoodles is a small family owned breeding program that currently consists of two incredible Australian Shepherd dams and one amazing Standard Poodle stud. We only breed first generation Aussiedoodles so you can be provided with evidence of AKC pedigrees from their parents that stem from AKC hall of fame recognized bloodlines. All of our puppies are clear for genetic health diseases known to the Australian Shepherd and Standard Poodle breed. We only breed our dogs once they have obtained both their Canine Good Citizen certifications and their Therapy Dog International (TDI) licenses. The intent for this program is to breed dogs that have proven themselves to exhibit dispositions capable of achieving these titles so we can faithfully live by our program goal and motto: Healing Souls with Paws of Gold.
Since all of our puppies come from dogs who have underwent vigorous training and are therapy dog certified, they have a much higher chance of becoming therapy or service dogs themselves. They will also make the perfect candidates for becoming your emotional support dog or just your canine best friend. Your Remedy Ridge Aussiedoodle is predisposed to be an intuitive, caring, intelligent and incredibly healthy member of your family.
Our dogs are a big part of our lives. We work daily with our two Aussie girls, Haven and Lottie. They have been raised inside our home with our big family which consists of other animals and two children. They began training at 12 weeks old. The program stud, Chauncey, lives with his guardian parents just so he could receive the kind of attention & training necessary to become a therapy dog himself. Heโs always going on adventures, being exposed to many different kinds of people and animals, and is spoiled rotten. He lives just a few miles away and spends a lot of time with our family and dogs as well. His guardian mom, alike myself, is passionate about mental health and canโt wait to incorporate him into her counseling career.
I graduated with my Masterโs in Social work with an emphasis in mental health in 2017. My Bachelorโs degree is in psychology. I became a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) shortly after I graduated with my MSW degree and have been acquiring clinical hours at my current job as an intake counselor at a mental health hospital. I have experience working with juveniles, those struggling with with various disabilities (especially autism), those struggling with drug addiction, alcoholism, eating disorders, sexual trauma and PTSD. I have also done a lot of work with troubled youth while incorporating equine-assisted therapy and canines into the healing process. My passion in life is to help others.
In a few years, after my clinical license is obtained, I will be able to fulfill my biggest goal of becoming an independent Animal-Assisted Therapist. I cannot wait to incorporate my Aussiedoodles into therapy sessions and provide counseling to therapy and service dog seekers throughout the process.
Credentials aside, Iโve had my own struggles and hardships; the journey to become the person I am today has taken a lot of strength and help from others. I whole-heartedly believe in the power of counseling as it was the work of a skilled counselor and my willingness to change that helped turned my life around. My faith and relationship with God has played a key role in my process but do know that I respect all belief systems and agnostics. The adversity that I have endured allows me to relate and empathize with individuals on many different levels.
Equivalent to that, I believe in animals, especially dogs. Iโve always owned a dog and no matter what Iโve went through my dogs have always been there for me with unconditional love. The forgiveness and relentless love of my dogs have helped heal my soul and I am so excited to help pass this gift onto others.
Dogs show they can have lasting effects on our mental health. Dogs can simply sense the hormone changes (known as cortisol) that occur in us human companions when under stress. Stress is the root cause for most mental and medical issues and when dogs are properly rewarded for attending to our needs, they can learn to be there for us before we even know we need them. And when this occurs our feel good hormones (known as oxytosin and dopamine) are released. Studies show that this reaction often leads to greater productivity, increased drive to exercise, greater comprehension, and overall feelings of contentment. Additionally, studies show that dogs can reduce high blood pressure, help with anxiety, depression, autism and an array of behavioral, personality, and mental health disorders.
Certified therapy and service dogs can be incredibly difficult to afford, as insurance needs a lot of justification to assist in paying for one. Unfortunately, a certified therapy or service dog can never be justified with insurance without a confirmed mental health disability diagnoses that inhibits one from working and succeeding without it.
Many of us are simply undiagnosed, or functioning at a high enough level to be successful, but at the end of the day so many of us are self-medicating and uncomfortable. In a world full of chaos, stress, and over-committed individuals with not enough time in the day for self care, a dog lending emotional support can be everything that keeps us together.
Weโve done our research and invested our time in raising parents that will produce the best tempered and beautiful Aussiedoodle puppies around (in our humble opinion). Research and genetics ๐งฌ show that dispositions are passed down and genetics play a strong role in how a dog turns out. Every dog will have its own personality but if the dog is properly nurtured, socialized, trained & desensitized to many different things, research shows a dog from good lineage can be capable of service work (as long as a trauma does not occur which changes brain functioning). It all comes down to nature and nurture, we encourage you to do your research and always pick puppies from parents that have proven themselves worthy of being bred.
