This is a good reminder that we need to focus and put effort on riding well.
Riding balanced.
Riding to help our horses with the workload we are expecting out of them not just flopping, pushing, pulling and letting them carry the load (US!)

Why does my horse spook?

A heavy or unyielding hand and unbalanced seat can attribute to tension and soreness throughout the horse’s body, especially in the poll, shoulders, back, loins & pelvis. Relaxation of the poll is essential for a horse to respond rather than react to the request of the rider.
