The immediate posture change shows why regular nail maintenance is so important!

Nails that touch the ground when standing causes major discomfort, changes the way the dog stands and walks as well as can cause long term damage if not helped.

It’s rare I have same day appointments available but after a few cancellations I have appointments today starting around 4:30pm! I expect it to fill up fast so please message me if you’d like to get your pet a special pawdicure😁

Did you know that nail length effects your dogs overall body and can cause early arthritis?

When a dog has nails that touch the floor when standing still, it pushes onto the joint and causes pressure. Your dog may then change the way they walk and stand to avoid this pressure, putting unwanted stress on all different joints in the body!

The perfect length of nails depend on the breed. A dog with a ‘cat foot’ such as Dobermans, Akitas, Bull Terriers, etc will tend to have a shorter looking nail whereas a ‘hare foot’ breed such as Greyhounds, Poodles, Samoyeds, etc will have a longer nail appearance!

With Nails to Tails we strive to find the perfect balance for your dog to keep them as comfortable and functional as possible! We still want your furry friend to be able to use their nails for digging, scratching and holding toys/bones!

We offer at home nail trims for all sorts of animals!

The goal is to make the experience for both pet and owner as stress free and as positive as can be!

All I need is enough space to set up my table and the trip usually doesn’t take more than 15 minutes depending on the amount of animals.

No trip charge if within 15 miles from Chebanse, IL!
