This page is all about rescuing dogs. There are lots of albums of my fosters! I volunteer for Akron Canine Rescued Angels. I've fostered breeder dogs from puppy mills and also dogs from shelters out of state and local surrenders. I've started supporting those that are looking to adopt a dog. I have found it can be overwhelming for some and some just need a little help with the process and finding

just the right dog. You have to be patient! I also educate the public and help with passing laws that ban puppy mills and the sale of the puppies. Puppy mills are INHUMANE commercial puppy breeding facilities that value profit over the health and well being of the dogs. These dogs live in filthy, overcrowded conditions. Females are bred over and over without any recovery time. They sell their puppies to pet shops, in classified ads, online and at dog auctions. NEVER buy a puppy in any of these ways or you are helping the puppy mills make money and stay open. Don't support cruelty! Fostering is saving a dogs life and bridging the gap a wonderful new life with an adoptive parent. They may need help with socialization and getting use to being part of family life. Dogs from the mills have never been in a house so know nothing about all the activity that goes on. They've never been held and petted much less had a toy or a treat! They need to experience simple things like the grass under their feet, going up and down stairs, swinging doors, noises in the neighborhood...everything in life outside a cage. I belong to NYS Citizens Against Puppy Mills and am a voice for all the breeder dogs in the mills. I help with fundraisers and adoption events. Please consider helping out Akron Canine Rescued Angels by fostering, volunteering for fundraising,transporting animals either to the vet or on their freedom ride to Buffalo and of course we are grateful for each donation whether it be monetary or dog food or supplies.
