Talli (Brit x Eikon) is absolutely living it up in sunny CA with her family. She is a water dog through and through and goes everywhere with her family. They plan to start some titles soon just to accomplish some stuff together and prove out her wonderful, unflappable temperament. I am so happy for her 🥰

Talli should have some siblings planned that I should be able to share about in a few weeks!

Happy Mother's Day, everyone.

This is Sharliz. She is the GOAT. I cannot possibly overstate how amazing her babies have been in every conceivable way. She is the mom of the year, every year, and will mother anything and anyone. She even helped surrogate nurse a litter for me when Callie needed extra help getting her large litter fed, and she would have kept every single one of those babies if I had let her.

She not only has genetically passed on so many good traits to her children, she mothered them beautifully. She was always patient and measured with them. Her one downfall as a mom was lacking boundaries with her children when they got rough with her. But that was fine with me- I picked uo the slack for her and she was ever devoted to those babies. No matter how much they tried her patience, she never was harsh with them abd always wanted to be near them.

I could go on for days about her. I have been going on and on for days here at home because she has made it very clear that this will be her last Mother's Day with us. I didn't think I would be losing her yet and I really don't know how to cope with it. I have been holding so tight to her and her daughter, Brit, the last few days.

I can never ever repay her for what she has brought to me and the families who have her sons and daughters- but I know that she knows just how loved and cherished she has been here as part of our family for the last 7+ years.

Happy Mother's Day to the best momma dog I know.

2 things to point out here:

1. Shar-moo moo! Look at that old lady face 🥹 I just love her. She is 11.5 years old and still going strong.

2. The sounds of my house are chaotic 😂 This is the chaos puppies grow up with and learn to just nap through. It is so great for their development and early exposure!

Romi is back home.

We still need to get a proper box for her ashes, but it gives me some ounce of comfort to see her pawprint up on the mantle.

I miss you so much, Romi. You were such an amazing dog. ❤️

Brit is officially bred to Obi v.d. Tempelhoeve, owned and loved by SuAnne Herman, owner of Parkseite German Shepherds. Brit and I both had a fantastic time visiting with SuAnne and Obi and exploring Kansas. Now we wait and hopefully we will have some lucky news by Saint Patrick's Day, with puppies expected around the 19th of April.

I cannot wait to see the stunning and amazing temperament puppies we should get from these two!

Available 1 year old female!

Talli is looking for a couch to warm, a buddy to hang with, the occasional body of water to dive into, and people who want a partner- no matter the adventure. Talli is a go with the flow girl. Movie marathons are her jam just as much as a hiking trip. Farmer's markets don't phase her anymore than screaming children. Vet offices are a walk in the park and walks in the park are fantastic opportunities to try to make friends of every dog, cat, squirrel, or human. She is just waiting for you!

Talli is:
-potty trained
-basic OB trained
-AKC registered
-UTD vaccinated, dewormed, and flea/tick/heartworm prevention
-crate trained
-AKC reunite microchipped
-good with kids, cats, dogs of all sizes, any type of person, horses, a camel, goats, chickens, turkeys, indoor birds, and a tortoise!

Talli has lovely conformation and would be happy to continue showing. She may be up for some fun performance sports such as barn hunt, dock diving, fast cat, or others, but she is not high drive and will not be placed for serious sport such as IGP. She will be going on a non-breeding and spay contract.

She is very ready to find her forever home and we have priced her very reasonably to try to encourage a quick, excellent placement for her.

Talli is from our Brit x Eikon litter and just turned 1 year, 3 months.

No BOND!
Melissa Sanders will remain in jail. The transfer to a new judge and new court meant that we all had no idea what how things would change and if this judge would also see the clear risk that Ms. Sanders is to the community. He does see her as a threat to the community, as she is!

We have one update we can share from all of the craziness with the Melissa Sanders animal cruelty case. This boy was born June 2nd of this year, making him 5.5 months at rescue and weighed less than 8lbs. He was chronically starved as has seen a nutritionist to confirm as much. He has no dwarfism, he should have been a healthy, thriving boy, like he is now. He is now with his person, the owner, who's boy Mojo broke this case wide open with his necropsy. His son, Bizzy, gets to heal with Collette now. And Collette gets to heal with him.

This is honestly the only bright spot from all this that I have been able to find lately. Everything else is just a sea of terribless. I will update on some of that Tuesday morning. In case the defense is following my page, I dont want to give him any heads up of what we know before the bond hearing Tuesday morning. Hug your dogs as tightly as Collette is hugging Bizzy now ❤️

Bond denied, moved from district to circuit court (more serious), and this many felonies means that there is going to be real justice for all of the dogs. ❤️ oh, and it looks like bond was denied again! This is an answer to prayer and a Christmas Present all rolled up into one.
