Homestead activities today: Bottling homemade pineapple ginger kombucha, yum!
Testing out the new cutting table/method - it works! A bit of fine tuning needed but so much better than our previous method. We'll get some slo-mo footage with explanation to share soon but, for now, here's a fun little glimpse behind the scenes cutting a 276 bar batch of soap (wish we could do it that fast for reals! ;) ).

We were having trouble finding what we needed in the right size/price range, so he built it!
This will be used to lift 400+ lb. drums of oil and stack them.
We'll share more as the barrel rack construction and putting it all in place happens! π

No video editing skills here but we hope you enjoy this "behind the scenes" look complete with noisy children - keepin' it real! ;)
For those of you who don't know, we actually live in and produce all of our products from our 960 sq. ft. home that is currently under some massive remodeling/finishing work.
It's pretty interesting some days trying to hold space for our growing business amidst this but we continue to find ways to make it work where we're at and keep evaluating ideas for a better space in the near future - exciting! π
A word of encouragement: if you have a dream, don't wait until your circumstances are perfect. That might not ever come. Start where you're at, do what you can - you might be surprised at how much is possible. The struggle is where we learn and grow the most. Don't let fear or a quest for perfection hold you back. β€
And our winner is... (pardon our lack of video skills π) .....
