You haven't heard from us in awhile, have you?!

We have been busy working on getting our place ready to sell, among other things. There have been a few rather important changes the last few weeks and, since I promised to keep you all updated as best I could, here goes...

While Dirty Man Soap Co. is still on freeze and we don't plan to bring our online store or our full product line back, we are still hoping to eventually have a farm store at our future place. We're not there yet though.

In the meantime, we have recently begun manufacturing soap for another local company. We are making their soap recipe for them, not using our soap recipe, but it's really good soap too. Ok, just kidding about deleting this page today. 😆 We're figuring this out as we go (obviously 😬😆).

We still have a lot of soap ingredients on hand so I will keep this page up for now as another way local folks can order.

So, here are the details:

We don't have space to fully cure and hold onto soap for very long so your soap:

- Will need to sit for 3-4 weeks before being used
- Will not be labeled

Also, we won't be shipping so you'll need to pick up from us or have someone else pick up for you.

If you're interested in purchasing, keep an eye out here. I'll post updates with what "flavors" are available as we make them. You can also message me with requests. 😊

Alrighty folks, we are not planning to come back. Not as the business we were before, anyway.

Our dream is to move on from our current home to a larger property where we can farm/homestead on a larger scale (we plan to stay in our current area). We hope/plan to have a farm store and still produce our soaps to sell locally, but we're not planning to go back to selling online and shipping.

We are going to close down the website and also delete this page on October 15th.

Just a quick update:

First of all, THANK YOU all so very much for your support. It means a lot. I hope everyone was able to get some soap and other products before we sold out. Man, you guys cleared our shelves, and fast! But that was exactly what we needed to happen.

We have officially moved our family of 6 into the 576 sf of finished garage space that was formerly our soap shop, and we're tearing into all if the needed remodeling/finish work inside our house.

It's a huge mess, but it's progress, and I'm so thankful we don't have to try to live in there while we're doing the work.

I'm also thankful we made the decision to hit pause on the soap biz for now because, though we would have figured out a way, this would all be a lot more stressful right now.

So, here's a couple quick peeks into what the Soap Shop looks like now that we're moved in. 😉

Wowza, we have been slammed with orders - thank you all so much! Thank you for your kind words of encouragement and for telling us how much you love our products and hope that we will be back. It means a lot. ❤

We will keep you posted along the way.

For now, just a reminder that the online store is only open through the 15th. Believe it or not, after all of those orders, we do still have some product left. We have just a handful of 4 soaps and then 100+ still of To***co and Amber soap (we had just restocked that one before our decision). We also have beard oil, wood soap dishes, and the sisal soap saver bags a plenty still.

Everything left is marked down dramatically to try to clear our shelves.

Please help us spread the word and help us get the last bit sold before our closing date.

Well folks, this is a hard post to write but...

Life has changed a lot for us the last couple years and we're no longer sure that continuing with this business is what's best for our family. We're not closing doors officially just yet, we need to give ourselves more time to decide. However, we are going to need to suspend online orders for the duration of the summer. We are in the midst of some major home renovations in preparation for selling our home and hopefully moving this fall/winter (planning on staying in this area, local folks).

We will be at least temporarily closing our online store on August 15th.

So, stock up now on everything you love while it's available. Our products all have a year minimum shelf life. Store them somewhere dry and cool for best results.

We have loved serving you and your families and appreciate all the support you've given us over the past 8+ years. Thank you so much! This is hard but also exciting as we know God has a lot of good things in store for us in the future, we're just not quite sure what that will look like right now. :)

Happy Independence Day from D.M.S.C.!

We're just over here making a batch of To***co and Amber soap. 😃

We'll be testing out our new cutting table/unmolding method when this big boy is ready to cut in 2 days. We'll be sure to make a video of that so you can see how awesome (or terrible...) our, as yet untested, new approach is! 😉😆

Are you a gardener too? That dirt dries my hands out like no other. Between that and all the painting we've been doing lately, my poor hands have been trashed.
