This precious boy is a bundle of sweetness, affection, and independence. His high prey drive makes him a natural-born hunter, and with training, he'll excel as a tracking dog. As a highly intelligent breed, he requires a home that understands the needs of a shepherd.

Treats are his motivation, and he's quickly learned to sit for attention.

We're committed to finding Joshua his forever home, so although he's not part of our rescue, we're vetting applicants through our adoption application process.

Hey there!

I’m Mopar, a one-year-old hound mix, and I’m ready to steal your heart this Valentine’s Day!

I’m neutered, full of energy, and always down for a cuddle session on the couch. When I’m not snuggling, you can find me happily chewing on my favorite bone or playing with all my toys—I’m pretty great at keeping myself entertained!

I get along super well with other dogs and kids, so if you have either (or both!), we’ll be best buds in no time. I’m still learning some basic commands, but I just need a little patience and lots of love.

My ideal home is one with other furry friends and maybe some tiny humans to give me all the attention and belly rubs.

This is completely unacceptable but it is unfortunately accurate.

We see it daily and it isn’t showing any sign of slowing down.

If you see something that you know is wrong reach out to someone (us, animal control, your humane society, other rescues that you trust) and explain the situation. If possible (safely) get a photo or video or something and say something.

Speaking up and spaying and neutering are the first steps to progress.

Meet H***h, affectionately known as H***h Pooch, a resilient dog who has overcome incredible challenges.

Due to his tough past, H***h's kennel anxiety has led to some problems - hurting himself, busting crates, and escaping from standard wire crates.

Unfortunately, he prefers to keep to himself and isn’t friendly to other dogs. This makes him an accident waiting to happen, especially with 15 other dogs in the same space.

Our collective anxiety and H***h's destruction of kennels led us to one solution: an impact crate.

You all assisted us with getting the funds and we reached out to Impact, and they generously worked with us to provide an .

Thank you, Impact Dog Crates for alleviating our anxiety and providing a safe space for H***h while he waits for his perfect family. Also huge thank you to our amazing friends and family who donated to help us fund his new space!

🚨NO OTHER DOGS!🚨

This handsome pup is Joshua. Joshua was dumped on Mr. Davids farm in Sylacauga about 1 1/2 years ago and Mr. David and his wife have been caring for him since then.

They’ve kept up with his vetting but being an older couple with kids and grandkids to visit they want to find him a real home.

They’ve told us that Joshua is about 3 years old, LOVES all people, is in good health and is extremely smart.

This dog is NOT part of our rescue, this is just a post to help a friend.
