What an incredible day with our fantastic PETA volunteers! We were absolutely thrilled to have such an enthusiastic crew join us - gave them a tour and they were just blown away by everything we’re doing here at Barn. Then they rolled up their sleeves and worked their hearts out helping us spruce up the potbellied pig coops and yard areas. The energy was contagious and the pigs are going to be living in luxury thanks to all their hard work! Days like this remind us why we love what we do and how amazing it is when passionate people come together for the animals.

🏠✨ BIG NEWS: Marla & Durden’s Dream Home is Complete! ✨🐷
After months of hard work, our incredible Facilities team has finished our brand-new pig building! They pounded in 70 fence posts (yes, SEVENTY!) and installed 7 gates to create the most amazing yard space.

Meet our special residents: Marla and Durden have been the sweetest roommates while Durden needed extra care due to his mobility challenges. This past Sunday, they made the big move to their perfect new home - and WOW, do they love it!
Watching them explore their spacious new digs has filled our hearts. Durden is thriving in his specially designed space, and Marla couldn’t be happier with her bestie by her side.

This incredible transformation happened because of YOU! Every donation, every share, every bit of support made this possible. Marla and Durden’s joy is a testament to your generosity.

URGENT: CODE RED HEAT EMERGENCY HERE AT BARN
We are declaring a Code Red emergency at here at Barn as temperatures are forecast to reach 100 degrees - the hottest conditions we've ever faced and hottest in Michigan since 2012. An extreme heat wave is bearing down on the Barn, putting our vulnerable residents at serious risk of heat-related illness and distress. We desperately need your immediate assistance to help keep our animals and residents cool and safe during this dangerous weather event.
