Fur-Coated Affection
In every wag, a tale is spun,
A symphony of paw and sun.
With eyes that gleam like polished gold,
A bond more precious than jewels or gold.

Through rain and shine, they stand so near,
In silent comfort, they calm our fear.
Endless love wrapped in softest fur,
In every bark, there's a heart's soft purr.

They greet the day with joyful cheer,
Our shadows cast, year after year.
In simple moments, we find our place,
In a world embraced by their warm grace.

For in their heart, we see it clear,
The purest love, forever near.
In leaps and bounds, they show us how,
To love unconditionally, here and now.

⚖️ Weight: 55 lbs
📅 Intake Date: 11/5/2025

🩺 Medical Notes
• Confirmed Pregnant 🤰
• Heartworm Test: Negative ✅
• Vaccinated for: DA2PP-V, Bordetella, Rabies
• Dewormed & Treated with: Pyrantel & Advantage Multi
• Radiographs and exams confirmed she’s carrying puppies
• Staff describe her as timid but gentle, showing quiet signs of trust

This young mama-to-be is healthy aside from her pregnancy — she’s simply scared, alone, and overwhelmed by the shelter environment. Every sound, every bark, every echo makes her flinch. She just wants a soft place to rest and bring her babies into the world safely.

💕 Behavior & Temperament

Vanya has a gentle and fearful soul. She was found roaming near a business with other stray dogs, confused and vulnerable.

When staff approached her kennel:

“She was difficult to leash, pressing herself against the wall to hide. Once outside, she army crawled slowly, lowering her body to the ground. She’s clearly frightened but not aggressive — she just doesn’t understand she’s safe now.”

Later that day, when a staff member offered treats, she slowly sniffed them, then carefully ate them from her bedding. Even in fear, she’s learning to trust — one small moment at a time.

This is the kind of dog who will bloom in a quiet, patient home — one that lets her decompress, heal, and feel safe enough to wag her tail again.

🐶 About Vanya

At just one year old, Vanya is still a baby herself — a puppy trying to survive and now about to become a mother. She’s far too young to face this kind of fear, and she shouldn’t have to bring her puppies into the world in a shelter.

She’s sweet, submissive, and gentle — the kind of soul who just needs time, love, and space to trust again.

🙏 Plea for Her Life

Vanya is only 12 months old — scared, pregnant, and running out of time.
She’s not aggressive, she’s terrified. She’s trying to protect herself and her unborn babies in a place that’s too loud, too cold, and too unfamiliar.

She just needs a safe, quiet space to rest and whelp her puppies. With rescue support, she can heal — and her babies can be born into love instead of fear.

Please, give Vanya the chance she deserves.
Don’t let her story end before it’s had the chance to begin. 💔🐾

PLEASE AVOID THE HAZARDS OF HALLOWEEN AND KEEP YOUR PETS SAFE INSIDE‍
Halloween Care Tips:
Don’t leave your pet out in the yard on Halloween: there are too many risks for their safety.
Halloween candies are not for pets: chocolate is poisonous to many animals, and tin foil and cellophane candy wrappers can be hazardous if swallowed.
Be careful of pets around candle-lit pumpkins: animal could knock into them and cause a fire, or run the risk of getting burned.
Don’t dress your animal in costume unless you somehow know they love it. Costumes can put a lot of stress on animals.
If you do dress up your animal, make sure the costume isn’t constricting, annoying or unsafe.
Be careful not to obstruct their vision; even the sweetest animals can get anxious when they can’t see what’s going on around them.
All but the most social dogs should be kept in a separate room during trick-or-treat hours; too many strangers in strange garb can be scary for a dog.
Be careful your animal doesn’t dart out through an open door.

In shadows deep, where silence lingers,
Hearts ignite with tender fingers.
For fur and feathers, scale and fin,
We rise as one, let hope begin.

Each cry we hear, each tear we shed,
A symphony for those we’ve wed.
With every paw that finds a friend,
In every heart, the love will blend.

United by the call to save,
From puppy’s yawn to dolphin’s wave.
Together strong, through storm we strive,
In this brave fight, they will survive.

Golden Gleam
In the forest's warm embrace,
Where sunlight weaves through ancient trees,
Wolf pups tumble, a lively chase,
Dancing in the golden breeze.

With coats of amber, eyes so bright,
They frolic, boundless in their glee,
In shafts of light, their spirits light,
Nature’s joy, wild and free.

Among the ferns and flowers bloom,
Echoes of laughter fill the air,
In this realm, there’s no hint of gloom,
Just pups and sun, a perfect pair.
