Don't wait to see if something comes up because it won't. Adoptions typically happen on the side. Often I don't even get to see the bird or meet any of the people involved. Rarely does anyone have the courtesy to send a thank you donation.

I see a possible match and reach out to you. I don't just pass out your information without your permission. I make sure the parties are on the same page before connecting them.

We are expecting macaws and cockatoos in need of homes that will integrate them with the family and treat them like children. We can't match make without applications. Once they arrive here, it becomes exponentially more difficult to get a bird out of here with every passing day. If you want to adopt, apply NOW and then be patient.

This little guy needs the right home, but I can't tell if that fits you without an application. He arrives this weekend. If he's here too long, he will form relationships we won't want to break, and we won't traumatize him, making adoption of birds living here very difficult and a costly process.

We encourage adopters to have a contract and charge a rehoming fee. If you adopt from us, there is definitely a contract we enforce with a minimum $1000 fee. The bird's effects go with it. We don't break up pairs or flocks.
