I want to send out a HUGE thank you to everyone who donated to the fundraiser for the Cherokee Village Animal Shelter and came out to support the furbabies! We raised a whopping $1,560!!! Thank you for the people who donated their time, the artists who donated their music, the people and businesses who donated raffle prizes, etc.!
I couldn't have done it without the wonderful support from our community and of course the Elks!

Meet Tiger, our adoptable of the week. The photo that is included is taken from above to showcase her very distinctive, Tiger-like striping. Hence, her name! She has earned the title of spoiled cuddlebug at the CVAC as she came in (owner surrender) timid and shy, but completely attached herself first to our female AC officer and then our male assistant. Once attached, she loves her people and loves to give hugs. Tiger is a spayed female Pittie mix, almost two years old. She enjoys playing with the younger crowd of dogs and has developed a friendship with another easy going adult male dog. Tiger has the energy to play fetch for as long as you want to, it is her favorite sport!
