🦠Leptospirosis is an infection of Lepto bacteria. Found in the urine of infected mice, rats, racoons, skunks and possums, this bacteria gets excreted into the environment.

Dogs are most often infected by drinking from a contaminated water source. The bacteria then targets the liver and kidneys, leading to serious illness and sometimes death.

You can prevent infection with an annual lepto vaccine and booster, good for dogs over 12 weeks old.

Our friends at the Animal Welfare Association hosted a fun and fur-filled kitten yoga event for us with and as you can tell, we had a blast!

Every day, animal shelters are providing care, housing and love to animals from all walks of life. More often than not, they rely on people in the community to volunteer and donate in order to meet the constant need of shelter care for our furry friends. Even if you can't donate or volunteer your time, there are lots of other great ways to support your local animal shelter: You can spread awareness about the shelter and any events they may host, whether it's an adoption event or an education opportunity. Following them on social media also helps broaden their platform to reach more people and connect more loving pet parents with their newest additions.

We love the and appreciate everything they do for us and our community, both 2-legged and 4-legged 🤗
