We will be closed tomorrow 12/25 in observance of Christmas and Hanukkah.
Although our doors and lobby will be closed, our pet care staff will be onsite all day to celebrate the holiday with our overnight guests. Regular hours will resume tomorrow.

Are you dropping off your dog for overnight boarding for the holidays? Some helpful hints to make this process easier for both you and your pup include:
1. Say goodbye to your pup prior to drop off. Emotional goodbyes in the lobby can create unneeded stress & anxiety for both you and your dog.
2. Leave any play items made of cloth or fabric at home. Nylabones, antlers, kongs, and hard bone products are acceptable.
3. It's always a good idea to bring treats. Our guests tend to burn more calories with us than at home, and extra treats help offset the need for extra calories.
4. If you must bring your own food, please pack each meal in a ziplock bag. You may want to include a little extra food in each bag if your dog is in daycare to offset the extra calories he/she may burn while playing all day. Unless your dog is on a prescription diet from your veterinarian, we HIGHLY suggest that you use our complimentary food (which is formulated to not cause loose p**p).
5. Gourmet Ice Cream, human-grade treats, and upgraded bedding are all available for purchase on an à la carte basis. Ask our staff for details.
6. Although we do not send photos or videos by email, you are welcome to call us as much as you want to check up on your pup. We will monitor bowel movements, urinations, food intake, energy level, etc. We do post photos of some our guests at random about once per week (sometimes more).
7. Please provide us with phone numbers at which someone will answer. Phone numbers with full voicemails or numbers that go to voicemail may inhibit our ability to care for your pup if we have a question.
7. Know that your dog is our dog. When your pup is in our care, trust that we are well aware that we not just caring for your dog, we are caring for a member of your family. We take this responsibility seriously and treat each guest as if they were a member of our own family.

SHOULD YOU BRING YOUR DOG'S OWN FOOD WHEN BOARDING?
For your convenience and considering what may be best for your pup, the most simple answer is NO.
When your dog VISITS K9 Resorts, there is a change is sites, sounds, and smells compared to being at home. The side effect of such a sensory change may be loose bowel movements. Where your dog may be used to the food you feed at home, that food will probably do VERY little to prevent loose bowel movements due to a change of environment.
K9 Resorts uses a prescription form of food called Blue Buffalo GI (Gastro Intestinal). This food will more than meet the nutritional requirements for your dog but also deter the possibility of bowel issues. Blue Buffalo GI is formulated to reduce stomach problems with no transition period from your dog's regular food. It is our pleasure to offer this food free of charge with overnight boarding.
AGAIN, UNLESS YOUR DOG IS ON A PRESCRIPTION FOOD FROM YOUR VET, WE HIGHLY URGE YOU TO LEAVE YOUR FOOD AT HOME AND UTILIZE THE PROVIDED FOOD AT K9 RESORTS.
We have a dry and canned version of this food. For dogs with chicken allergies, we also offer a salmon based formula.
If your dog is on a prescription food prescribed by your veterinarian, you SHOULD bring that food in with your dog. We ask that you pre-bag this food per meal and clearly mark each bag with your dogs name.
