Last few days of our summer camp “Black Friday Sale”

Summer camp dates
June 17-21st - advanced camp- FULL
June 24-28th- open to anyone.FULL
July 22-26th- advanced camp- FULL
August 12-16th- 8 spots remaining

Camp registration is open now! with a $50 discount per week for early registration and will be regular price December 1st Camp usually does fill during this sale 🦄

Camp is 9am -1pm.
Advanced camp riders must be able to tack up with no assistance and confidently walk, trot, cantering. This camp is limited to 6 riders and will go on a field trip (weather permitting) to ride off the farm
The other two weeks are open to any riders. With a maximum of 10 campers. Campers will help take care of the horses each morning, ride and do a few crafts. They will need to bring a lunch every day and lots of water

To register comment on this post and Venmo deposit of $150 to be added to the list the other half of the camp payment will be due on June 1st regardless of which week you are doing

Hello! I am currently full for all afternoon lessons except 3pm Fridays and weekend lessons are full
I do have weekday morning lessons available. Lessons are $45 per rider and an hour long

SOLD
Completely Broke “Oscar” is the sweetest 15.3h 6yr old registered appendix. I LOVE him, He’s teaching lessons currently, won his division the past 2 horse shows, doesn’t need to see the jumps and has a lead change. He is a young horse so not for a beginner yet. No maintenance, goes out with mares and geldings and is just nice to have around

Small group riders— there are very low sign ups for the September classes. I will have to cancel/combine classes with less than 4 riders so please spread the word if you know anyone who has been on the fence about signing up

Also, the horse show is open to all riders, message me if you are interested and don’t know what classes to do

Hello everyone! With the weather warming up I just wanted to remind you that sandals or flip flops are not allowed at the farm
This applies to everyone coming on the property, there is a sign on the front gate, you will not be allowed past that point if you do not have appropriate shoes on

With warmer weather on the horizon I am opening up my remaining 6pm lessons!

My lessons are $45 and an hour long, they include grooming and tacking up. These are the only lessons currently available and are a weekly commitment. 24hrs notice is required to cancel your lesson, any lesson cancelled with less than 24hrs notice you will be required to pay for.

Since I don’t have a website anymore here’s a price list for anyone interested:
At this time stalls are only available to students in the lesson program, lessons are added onto board price
Full Stall Board $500 ponies, $550 horses
Partial stall board $350, owner provides all grain and hay
Lessons 1hr long private or small group: $45
Small group classes (Wednesday/Saturday) $25
2 day a week lease $205, + 1 lesson a week required
3 day a week lease $250, + 1 lesson a week required

But the spotlight lesson horse today is Sidney!
She is a an “about” 20yr old TB mare and 16.2h
She is relatively new to the barn but is a great addition already, jumps anything and very slow and quiet to ride

Tinkerbell just left on a lease but she is today’s “meet the pony”
Neverland “Tinkerbell” is a 14.1h 10yr old Appaloosa pony. She is a lovely girl who has the best manners, loves to trailride and show! She was originally a rescue and saved from an auction by Tammy Minnich. I adopted her from her and she’s been here 5yrs

Our next “meet the pony” is Charles!
Charles is a 20 something warmblood gelding, he is 15.1h and was rescued from an auction by long meadow equine rescue
He has obviously been a lesson and show horse all of his life and is shown here at his first show with us and his buddy McKenna
Charles has uveitis in both eyes and has a fly mask he is supposed to wear all the time to protect his eyes from the sun; he can see through it, it’s just like horse sun glasses!

Meet the ponies!
A few kids have asked me for more information about their favorite lesson ponies, sometimes for projects, and sometimes just because they love them, so I’m going to do a pony “spotlight” every day with some of the important ponies/horses here

First up is Rocky!
Breed: Quarter Pony
Age: 18
Height: 14.1
Rocky is our newest (for right now 😂) addition, he is very sweet and great with leadline through learning to canter. I do appreciate his owner letting him come stay a while, He has fit right in to our crew! Rocky is not able to jump due to an old injury and rides in a hackamore and not a bit
