Meet Rocky

1/15 Update: Rocky has a torn CCL (similar to an ACL in people) and is waiting for an orthopedic consult. He is on activity restrictions and leash walking only and may need surgery.

He is a 10y old neutered male beagle currently weighing around 27lbs .

Rocky was abandoned by his owner with a friend who was pet sitting him and is now desperately seeking a home or foster of his own for the holidays. The sooner we can find a foster or adopter for Rocky the sooner we can get him into BTTR!

Rocky needs a home with a fenced in yard, or a family who will take him on lots of walks. He is currently in an apartment with another small dog who isn’t interested in playing. He is desperate for some exercise, a chance to sniff and explore, and loves to play with other dogs.

He is neutered Heartworm negative, had blood work done, microchipped, up to date on Rabies/Parvo/Distemper/Bordetella vaccines, dewormed and is on flea/tick/and heartworm prevention.

BTTR offers a trial period to all of our adoptions to make sure it’s the right fit! Can you help Rocky out?

Meet Mistletoe

12/26 Update: Adopted

She is a 5 month old spayed female beagle or beagle mix puppy currently weighing around 13lbs.

She loves to play with other dogs, loves toys and exploring outside.

She needs a home with a fenced in yard, a family that can take her for lots of walks or another younger dog who likes to play. She is still learning not to jump, bite, and scratch so children in the home need to be over the age of 5.

Puppies are a lot of work, she will need to go out during the day, learn to walk on a leash, she may p*e when she gets excited, or bite when she is playing. Beagles are high energy breeds and we want this home to be her last home since she has already had 3 in her short life.

The Leashes and Collars were hung along the fence with care in hopes that people with new pets would soon be there…..From XL to XS and even a few for cats, doggie seat belts and more we have them all.

Update 8/10/24 Peppa (previously known as Coal has been adopted)

Peppa is a tiny 15 pound 7-9 year old Beagle possibly Chihuahua mix. We called her Peppa since on arrival she was pink like a pig, had no fur and likes to snort. She is great with cats, kids and other dogs. She was surrendered after her owner died and the family was unable to care for her due to her allergies. She has been with us since Thanksgiving and is looking for an amazing home of her own.
