Love riding horses?

We are seeking volunteers with horse experience to guide trails during weekdays and possibly weekends. Trails are walk only, but volunteers must be able to walk, trot, and be able to exhibit control over the horse at all times.

Prerequisites: Must be over 20 years old, must have their own transportation and be reliable...and MUST have riding experience! Please have a friendly attitude, an ability to flex (like the weather), and think outside the box! Also, must be able to do a minimum of 2 days a week.

Persons selected must be able to tack up horses, participate in feedings, and do basic duties like mucking stalls and moving hay.

Today is National Horse Protection Day, a day designed to raise awareness about the many horses that need home and care across the United States. Horses can live to be about 30 years, and they are often neglected, abused, or sent straight to the slaughterhouse once they are no longer able to race, work, or provide a service that benefit their owners. However, there are many amazing sanctuaries or rescues that provide care and shelter to these animals. Please consider donating donating to any rescue or rehabilitation center to help these beautiful creatures in need.

This little lady has some true grit! Love that she found us and I hope our followers can find it in their heart to donate. Peytan comes to us for weekly therapy and time with our horses. She smiles the most while she’s out here and he brings the most perfect Ray of sunshine with her!

*UPDATE*
Malinda and B left this morning early to hit the road with our Tally Girl. They are traveling to NC state for Tally’s surgery. They have made it safely to the facility, we ask for continuing prayers for fast safe surgery and safe travels. We will post a new update when we hear from the medical team. We would like to say thank you for everyone who donated to her surgery fund, we are beyond grateful for the love and support!
