We’ve got some fresh faces available tomorrow for Snout and About at Chesapeake Animal Services! Don’t worry, your favorites are still available!😃 Our pups enjoy walks, checking out dog-friendly businesses and restaurants, or simply chilling out and enjoying a car ride. Pup cups are always appreciated😋

No experience is necessary to participate in Snout and About, and children are welcome! We will provide you with a backpack full of the supplies you need for your adventure. All you need to supply is love 💞

😀Congratulations and Happy Birthday to Chesapeake’s Volunteer of the Quarter!😀

Bill has been volunteering with Chesapeake Animal Services for TWELVE YEARS!!😲 There isn’t much Bill hasn’t done in that time: he has fostered, walked dogs, transported animals, and tracked vehicle maintenance. (We could list more, but it would exceed the allowed character count😉) Bill even predates our volunteer database, so we’re not sure how many cumulative hours he has! BUT what we do know is that we can’t do it without him💞

🎉Congratulations on being Chesapeake’s Volunteer of the Quarter, and thank you for the love you give to all our animals, staff, and volunteers🎉

🐾Alumni Check-in!!🐾

We met Charlie in May when she had to be surrendered due to a move. She started off a bit shy, but once she warmed up, she showed us what a sweet, and very smart, pup she is. Charlie won the hearts of volunteers and staff alike!🥰

Charlie, now Lilo, met her match in July❤️ According to her family, she has adjusted well and loves cuddles, walks, and laying in the sun. We are so happy to see the love between Lilo and her new family. Thank you for adopting and saving lives!💞

🎄The stockings are hung, the cookies are baking, and our kittens are still hoping Santa will grant their wish of being home for the holidays!💞 Chesapeake Animal Services is open until 6pm tonight. It’s not too late to spend the holidays with your new best friend!🎄

Adoption fees include spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchip, and heartworm test (dogs) or FIV/FeLV test (cats).
Adoption Fees:
🐶Dogs: $110
🐱Cats: $75 (second fee is waived when you adopt two)
🐰Small Animals: $20-30 (depending on species)

Funds for Priority Toyota Chesapeake’s Home for the Holidays adoption event have officially been exhausted! 🎅Santa Bonnie doesn’t want you to worry though, there are still plenty of amazing pets waiting for homes at Chesapeake Animal Services!🥰
