🥰Thank you so much to BSA Troop 901 for building composting bins and beautifying our small animal garden! This dedicated group of young men started bright and early this morning, pulling weeds, cutting back grass, and shoveling compost, all under the watchful eye of their Scout Master and chaperones. Their hard work was rewarded with some puppy and kitten snuggles!🥰

We are so thankful to our community for supporting the staff and animals at Chesapeake Animal Services. We can’t do it without you!

Mase is full of love and can't wait to share it! He seems stoic in his kennel but really blossoms once he's outside and interacting with people. Mase is a very chill pup and likes to go with the flow. He shows appropriate and playful interest in the other dogs. Zeus is a 2-year old pittie-mix who was surrendered through no fault of his own. He is great with kids, loves people, is crate and house-trained, and has successfully lived with other dogs. You don't have to take our word for how great Zeus is, you can see for yourself during Snout and About this Saturday!

Zeus was also featured on WAVY TV 10 last night! He had a great time getting belly rubs from Don Slater and showing him how to surgically remove squeakers!
