For those of you who knew Zoey, you know what a special little dog she was. She spent many days in the shop, mostly in her bed, but sometimes coming out to greet customers. She was the most confident little chihuahua that ever was. She could walk past a kennel with a dog inside that sounded like it wanted to chew her alive and she wouldn’t even bat an eye. She was the best little sidekick to my son Ryan. She always got so excited when he came home and ran to greet him. He was the only one she really did that with. She had the bladder of a walnut and drove me insane with her accidents. But other than that, she could not have been a more perfect dog. We love you so much Zoey and will miss you like crazy. Rest in peace sweet girl💔

So honored to be chosen again as one of the top 3 rated grooming shops in Chesapeake!!!

I was so excited when I saw this that I posted it quickly! But I really need to give all the credit to my amazing team! If you have never worked in a grooming shop or with animals in general, you can’t imagine how difficult it gets. It’s really loud with the barking and blow dryers. We are always having to clean p**p or barf or a dog loaded with fleas. There’s nothing like doing your best work on a dog and they p**p and splash in it so you have to do it all over again! We get bitten and scratched. This job is not for sissies. But my team loves the dogs and each other so much, they keep showing up and keep doing their best!!! It’s a happy place and we do the work but we have fun while doing it!! I can’t thank my people enough for all their hard work and dedication to make Lucky Pups the best place to get your dog groomed and looking their best!!! Thank you to Deandra, Krysten, Gabby, Zy, Jordan, Pete, Scott, Alyssa, Addison, Sydney, and Harlee!! Y’all are the best!!

***HE’S HOME!!!!! Shortly after my last update, he showed up at home!! He’s fine!!!

Update 7/4 7 am: No sightings. We have searched the marshes, the shelters, talked to the vets, talked to the neighbors, mailmen, and trash collectors, and put out flyers everywhere. I am hoping someone is keeping him safe! I can’t thank everyone enough for sharing my posts and taking their time and energy to help find my sweet boy. ❤️
