We're kicking off Senior Pet Month by showcasing our staff's beloved senior pets! First up, we have team member Holly and her 13-year-old tortie, Ariat. Ariat came to Holly as a semi-feral kitten, left outside a vet hospital with a fractured pelvis. She’s a bit shy and will growl or hide when people come to the door, but with Holly, she’s as snuggly as they come—always curling up on her chest and filling her face with fluff. Ariat also has a strict bedtime routine, meowing loudly from the top of the stairs when it’s time for her humans to head to bed.

Congratulations to Our Halloween Contest & Raffle Winners!

Thank you to everyone who came out and joined the fun! We’re thrilled to announce our winners for this year’s costume contests, raffles, and games.

🧙 Pet Costume Contest: C**t as "Yoda" took home the grand prize—a $100 gift card to Wasserhund Brewing Company!
And in the child costume category, Daniel as "Baby Bat" won a giant bag of Halloween candy! 🍬

🎁 Raffle Winners:
Bandit (the adorable dog in the red car) and his family won a winter coat and a fun new dog toy!

What an incredible first week it’s been! We’ve loved welcoming all kinds of pets, from curious canines to some unique friends like EJ the bearded dragon and our very own clinic hamster, Vampira!

Surprise! EJ is a GIRL! 🦎🎀

EJ came in for a visit, and we all thought “he” was a boy... but Dr. Kimbrel had a feeling that might not be the case. After a quick ultrasound (yes, we can do that for bearded dragons too!), we found out EJ is actually a girl!

We love being able to use advanced diagnostics to learn more about all of our patients, big or small (or scaley)!

🌟 Happy Vet Tech Week! 🌟

This week, we’re giving a BIG shout-out to our very own rock star, Holly Daugherty! Holly wears many hats as both our Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) and Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM).

Holly’s passion for developing leaders and fostering growth shines in everything she does. She has a unique talent for spotting what people are great at and guiding them toward success. We are so grateful for her constant support and encouragement. She truly prioritizes the happiness and success of our entire team.

Outside of work, Holly is a busy mom, active in her boys’ sports and community, a devoted blood donor, and an advocate for mental health causes. Her caring nature extends far beyond our hospital walls, and we’re so lucky to have her!

Though we're a new hospital, many of us have worked with Holly for years and have seen firsthand how she always puts her team's growth and happiness first. Holly, we’re so lucky to have you — thank you for being such an inspiring leader, and for everything you do for us and the community! 🙌🐾

🎉 Exciting News! 🎉

We’re thrilled to announce our official opening day is Monday, October 21st! We got a head start this week with some of our amazing staff and their family pets, and we couldn’t resist sharing a few behind-the-scenes moments, including our very first team photo! 📸🐾

We’re still waiting on a few final touches, but we couldn’t be more excited to open our doors to everyone next week. Come by on Monday, meet our team, and let us take care of your pets!
