What We’re Looking For:
Dog Devotees: A genuine love for dogs is a must!
Hard Workers: Ready to put in the effort, rain or shine.
Weather Warriors: Comfortable working in both super hot and super cold conditions.
What We Offer:
Competitive Pay: Earn $14–$19/hour based on your skills and efficiency.
Flexible Shifts:
Morning: 7:00–10:00 AM or 7:00–12:00 PM
Evening: 4:00–6:30 PM or 4:00–8:30 PM
Note: Shifts are 7 days a week, including holidays.

CURRENT NEEDS are Friday and Sunday 4:00PM-8:30PM, Wednesday 7:00AM-10:00AM/12:00PM , and Thursday 7:00AM-12:00PM.

Happy February and congratulations to Lynn Gilbert, Ballypines Dog Ranch Employee of the month!! Lynn has been a team member for almost two years...she brings a huge smile, positive attitude (despite the Buffalo Bills AFC Championship loss 🏉), willingness to do absolutely anything, a passion for dogs and a constant drive to learn. Lynn loves to celebrate your dogs' birthday and makes extra efforts to ensure they are spoiled rotten on their special day. We are forever grateful 😍for you Lynn!!

Happy New Year to you and your dogs!!!! If anyone knows of anyone interested in working at Ballypines (job description to follow) we currently have a position opening available. This job is not for the faint of heart!! It is a lot of outdoor work, cleaning, dog management, with temperatures from freezing cold to extremely hot. If you, or someone you know, loves hard work, being outside, and has a deep passion for dogs, please reach out to Krista at 904-504-1929. (Living close to Johnstown Road is also pretty important as the shifts can be anywhere from 2-5 hours.) Thank you as always!!

Congratulations to Rebecca Hirschman, Ballypines Dog Ranch Employee of the Month for December! Rebecca has worked at the ranch since 2020. Starting as a dog caretaker, she has advanced to shift lead and then barn manager. Rebecca‘s hard work and dedication to the ranch is beyond impressive! When she is not loving and caring for the dogs in the barn, she is diligently organizing a great deal of the behind the scenes work that help the ranch to run smoothly.  Rebecca definitely makes Ballypines a better place for all of our employees, as well as the dogs and their parents. Thank you and congratulations Rebecca!

Ballypines' Employee of the Month for December is a volunteer that has been with us for over two years now. BROOKE SCHWALM...You bring grace, poise, smiles, a tremendous work ethic, and a HUGE eagerness to learn every time you walk through those barn doors!! Brooke's knowledge of the ranch grows quickly-by the time she is legal to work she may just run the place!! Thank you for all of your hard work and time Brooke. You are GREATLY appreciated always!

Special new service now offered at Ballypines! Lick mats will now be available with your choice of pumpkin or Greek yogurt frozen on top. They will be given at bedtime. This is a great way to alleviate stress, create mental stimulation, and encourage healthy teeth and gums. If you are interested in adding this onto your dogs boarding reservation it can be added on while making the request or at drop off. The cost per lick mat will be $7.

Congratulations Abby Schlau, Ballypines November Employee of the Month! Abby started with us as a volunteer at 14 years old, eventually transitioned to an employee, and is now a strong shift lead that is a great resource for our new employees. Abby has been a great asset to our team and an amazing shift lead! She is hardworking, kind, and takes a lot of the amazing pictures that get sent to all of our wonderful dog parents. Ballypines is definitely a better place thanks to her! We are so very grateful for you Abby!!

Congratulations Emma Richlay, Ballypines October employee of the month! Emma has been with the ranch for only a few months and has already demonstrated a tremendous knowledge of the dogs. She brings a smile to the table at all times. Emma: thoughtful, empathetic, enthusiastic and dog lover. What more could you ask for in a team member?!

Congratulations to Melissa Jones, Ballypines Dog Ranch Employee of the month for September! Melissa joined our team in January 2024. During her 8 months she has proven to be an extremely hard worker, increasing her knowledge of dog health and play group management, as well as bringing a positive attitude and support to her fellow team members. When she is not making Ballypines a better place, Melissa can be found enjoying her four children, golfing with her husband (a retired Navy Master Diver-thank you for your service!!) or rocking some cross-fit. Thank you Melissa-the dogs and your team greatly appreciate you!!!

For all of our current customers-Ballypines is now offering either half day or full day day care on Tuesdays starting September 3! If you are interested in a fun filled day for your pup, please reach out to Krista at 904-504-1929. We are taking a limited number of dogs in order to maintain the more specialized group atmosphere that Ballypines maintains for boarding as well.
