Is there anything more fun than a wagonfull of Fox red labs crashing your morning yoga class?
Final field trip this morning. The puppies are leaving for their homes/jobs this weekend. It’s always bittersweet.
Huge thanks to my sister Lynnie & niece @_traceyellen for your help!

@emily.fletcher.photo does it again…..❤️
As most of you know, we no longer retire our dogs. We breed for us and our program first and foremost. We are huge believers that every dog needs a job and while we waited for her to figure out what hers would be, we socialized explored, trained, health cleared and waited some more.
She was pick of the litter from two incredible therapy dogs. David saw enormous potential in her. (If I’m being honest, I wasn’t really sure where she’d fit in our pack, but I was willing to ride it out with her. I sure didn’t think she’d be a therapy dog but maybe a hunting dog or sport dog! ) She was a different pup- very vocal, a little mischievous, at times challenging, but man what a riot! She is our comic relief, our entertainment and our tell it like it is girl. She gave us some incredible offspring to run on, taught us patience and perseverance more than any dog we’ve ever had and at about 3 years old something just clicked. Maturity mostly. She absolutely came into her own. It took us and her that long to figure out that she wasn’t a pack dog (or dog/dog as we refer to them here) but a people dog!
Fast forward…..today she left us to go to “finishing school” with two people that I consider the absolute best at what they do, because she deserves the absolute best! She’s 90-95 % there, just needs exposure and a gentle loving hand. She will be one of the absolute best facility dogs we’ve ever had and we couldn’t be more excited and thankful for this opportunity.
Thank you Tom and Kristy for all the work you do!
Stay tuned for progress updates and remember, every dog goes at their own pace! We’ve had a couple dogs who have gone on to second careers later in their lives and have just blown us out of the water!
One thing is absolutely certain- whatever school Molly ends up at will be incredibly fortunate. She has a lot of love and empathy to share!
Your future is bright sweet girl and we wish you many comfy laps to snuggle in, all the pats and scritch
Can’t wait for the new swag pics to roll in!
Thank you all for your love and support. As I always say, without you there would be no Boonefield Labradors!
Huge thanks to Dennis Whitcomb Jr for always doing an incredible job with our orders and @kagrady for organizing it!
Went to @redapplefarm today! Met the Easter Bunny (snuggles for daysssss) had my first pup cup (I’m hooked!) visited with some sweet pups and slept while mom & dad ate! I think I know why my parents love coming here!

Not sure it gets any better than this!
Tatum, Southbridge Police Department’s comfort dog met his new cousin today! Kobe is Lt Salisbury’s new pup.
Some may think dogs would be a distraction in school……. These dogs are trained to be very calm & quiet. They do know how to work a room though, and it’s fascinating to witness!
Keep up the great work Howie and Principal Bryson!
Take notice of how Hattie is with a strange dog steps away from her! She has mastered the ability to tune out everything. Not an easy thing for any dog to do, let alone a 4 month old! Hint- Always keep a pocket of favorites! You might also notice with her that she is a studier. She sits back and takes it all in. Great impulse control and patience.
If this doesn’t speak volumes about the temperament of our puppies, I don’t know what does.

Lincy went missing first thing this morning. Grampie snuck in & caught him. He spent the better part of the day in there!
