Basil is 4 weeks old today!!!!

Update: We didnt get any foster apps in time unfortunately but we will reach out to interested adopters once I get back in town.

FOSTERS NEEDED

Would anyone be willing to foster or foster to adopt Gretal or Tilly while we go out of town? 1 week needed and supplies provided. We would need them picked up tomorrow. I'm in Spartanburg near Chesnee but am happy to meet somewhere. They are both doing so well and we are trying to lighten some of the work on our dog sitter.

Gretal takes 1 pill daily and just had heartworm treatment so she needs a calmer environment. She prefers females. She is dog/cat/kid friendly. Does great in a crate and is super quiet. 5 yrs 15 lbs

Tilly is underweight and eating 3 small meals daily, she is a social butterfly and does well in a crate. She's cat/dog/kid friendly . 7 months 17 lbs

A beautiful day to save a soul!

Meet Tilly ,

This 7 month old girl hasn't had the best life. Unfortunately her owners are struggling really bad and have barley been able to manage much less afford food and medical for dogs. They made the decision to surrender and I'm here to help not judge. She is very skinny under that sparse wire hair so I'll be cooking for her to make sure she gains some healthy weight.

If you'd like to donate towards her care we would really appreciate it! The building cost have added up quickly. She needs a full assessment for her skin, 1 of her legs, and will require spay and the rest of her puppy shots. Every dollar means the world to me and I'm even down to accept the pennies in your cup holder at this point lol God Bless!

Roof is done!!! And done properly!! This little building may not look like much to some but this has been a safe haven for so many dogs. Yes I'd love something bigger but the reality is I've already put thousands into this and I'm not a wealthy woman. Just an animal lover who would rather live humbly if that means I can provide love, healing, and safety to dogs in need. Thank you all for your support.

Next project will be repairing the subfloor and redoing the insulation in walls and ceiling but we need funds to do so. I'm trying to figure out a fundraiser or raffle to help raise $ but my brain has been mush with so much going on. Tonight I just get to breathe a little easier knowing that there's a fresh sealed safe roof over my babies.

New roof is going on! Unfortunately there was even more damage but at this point I've just prepared my self to expect it.

Sweet Basil is a professional napper. She is doing wonderful thank God. She's started trying to walk around and we've even heard a few little barks.

Gretal got her 2nd injection today for heartworm treatment and now we are blowing this joint! Headed home to get plenty of rest and heal up. 👎 ❤️ 🪱

Our girl Basil is going strong! Unfortunately Turnip passed a few days ago and I've just been too sad and terrified about Basil dying to post an update. The only baby to open her eyes and get to see the world out of 7 puppies. I'm blessed to bare witness and want to thank everyone who's donated money and supplies. We got 3 boxes of toys, 3 boxes or gloves, dog food, treats, and puppy pads. This little girl is stocked up!
