Before bed I wanted to post Toto. His owner died and the person that took over the house doesn't care for animals so she tossed him outside. Could you imagine how his world has been flipped? Just when I think I'm going to take a break because I despise begging for support... here comes this little 1 eyed boy. His grateful kisses were all I needed to remember why I do this thing called rescue. We have space thanks to some amazing adoptions but we are running low on funds and food. It's a never ending cycle but oh how I love these little souls.

Also please know just because a dog is adopted out doesn't mean we are profiting. I waive fees for medical dogs, dogs that have been here for months on end, I cover cost for community dogs, and all our pitties/bullies are free ( to qualified homes of course). All vetting is covered and monetary/food donations relieve so much financial strain. I literally couldn't do this without ya'll.

🐾Adopt Penny🐾

Ms. Penny Lane came to PRP after being found hit by a car. Thankfully there were no serious injuries but she was infested with fleas and matted to her skin. When I tell you this little girl meets no stranger, I mean it. She is a social butterfly 🦋 and soaks up all the attention she can. She is a Shihtzu approx 1-2 yrs old and 10 lbs. Dog/cat/kid friendly

The night before last Licorice had a seizure and ended up at the vet. Even with bloodwork we haven't been able to determine what caused it, so the past few days have been stressful. He's doing much better thankfully! In 6 months of life this little guy has been through so much, this is the last thing he needed. Our vet bill is just adding up and we would really appreciate donations to help us continue our mission in helping these babies. (I believe we owe close to $500 now)

Please welcome Penny, Baby, and Peanut to PRP!

Penny was found after being hit by a car and thankfully she wasn't severely injured. She was matted and infested with fleas but she had a much needed spa day and is feeling much better! She's around 2 yrs old and 10 lbs. Dog/cat/kid friendly

Peanut is one of the pups from Piper ( the mama dog that was pulled from a storm pipe with her pups). He is 1 yr and about 10 lbs. He is in need of a new home where he can get more attention and does well with cats/dogs/ and most people.

Baby was a surrender to our vet. He is 8 months old and is looking for a home that has more time for him and his pup energy. We believe he's a Pekingnese mix. Dog/cat/kid friendly

Unfortunately Rex is back at PRP after only 48 hrs. Regardless of how amazing I think these babies are, sometimes things happen in a new environment. He simply wasn't given enough time to show his amazing personality. Decompression is the most important thing for little Rex. He has lived his entire life outside and is just now figuring out how to dog in a home environment. He enjoys his crate and needs someone who understands that is his safe space.

He needs a calmer home (dogs & cats are fine) . He is 90% Housebroken but accident happen and schedule is important when introducing him to a new space. He is 1 yr old and 6 lbs of gentle energy.
