👏🏽❤️🎊 TWO CONFIRMED PREGNANCIES 🎊❤️👏🏽

We have bred two of our mares to Eclipse so far this spring…. And BOTH mares took on the first try!! For a twenty year old stud… our hunky boy has still got it going on!!! We could not be more excited about two more crossbred sporthorse babies by this spectacular boy!! His 2022 filly Eden has blown us away with her brains, conformation, movement, and overall quiet and kind demeanor!! She is out of this world!! Way to go, Eclipse!!!

This stunning chestnut bombshell with all her daddy’s chrome made her way into the world around 12:35am! Congratulations to Eclipse on his new, fancy sporthorse baby!! We are absolutely head over heels in love with Eden already!!

Eden is by Mountaineer Eclipse and out of Southern Eve, a Holsteiner/TB mare! We cannot wait to watch this spectacular crossbred baby grow up and do amazing things!! Welcome to the world, princess!! 🎀🎊🍼🌸❤️🦄

We may be bias… but daaaayum…. Eclipse is hands down the hunkiest, sportiest full Belgian stallion we have ever met!! Bonus— he’s as sweet, kind, gentle, and good minded as he is good looking!!! Not only is he easy to handle and work with, but he is also a perfect, respectful gentleman when it comes to his dates with his lady callers…

What can we say?? We are smitten with this beautiful unicorn and his wild, beach boy hair!! ❤️🥰

Mountaineer Eclipse will be standing at his home in Glenmoore Pa for this year’s breeding program. He is available for ship-ins/live cover and we will offer mare care/short term board on a limited basis. We are working on logistics of shipping fresh for AI. Stay tuned for further details on that front!! He is available to draft mares, as well as those looking to breed to lighter mares for Sport.

Eclipse is a 17.2h registered Belgian Stallion who is by the infamous “Korry’s Captain”. He is a proven stallion who passes on his incredible temperament, handleability, conformation, and good bone. Belgian mare owners have been choosing him for years, with very satisfied results, as a stallion for their mares. It is only since last year that he is now available for breeding to Sporthorse mares… and we could not be more excited about what he will produce!!! Draft Cross Sporthorses are all the rage these days— and with Eclipse’s sporty build, great brain, size, and lovely movement— he is a top notch candidate and stud choice for creating fancy, correct crossbreds.

2022 Breeding Fee’s:

Live Cover- $750.00 (no LFG)
- $950.00 (LFG)
**includes a non-refundable Booking/Handling Fee of $250, which is due at the time of booking or prior to breeding.
**Multiple mares discounts available.

Mare Care/per day- $25/day, which includes “full care” day-board (feeding, unlimited hay, stall cleaning, handling for breeding).

💥 Health Certificates are also required for out of state ship ins. 💥

These pictures crack us up!! The Belgian in these pictures is Eclipse’s YEARLING grandson!!! He is pictured with our 2yr old Oldenburg colts!! “Baby Huey”, as we affectionately call him, is a whopping 16.3h at ONE YEAR OLD!! Geez Louise!!! 😯😍🤣

Our handsomest man was pretty convinced he was not going to survive tonight when it started raining while we were feeding dinner!! He rushed to the gate, clearly upset that he was stuck outside in the cold rain and without any clothing on!! Of course, we obliged... rushing our blonde hunk inside where he enjoyed his dinner out of the rain. He got bundled up for the night and as soon as the rain stopped, he went back out for the night. He was just as happy to go back out as he was to come in out of the brief shower! He isn’t spoiled or anything.... 😜❤️☺️😂🤷🏽‍♀️

You have to appreciate Eclipse’s go with the flow attitude! This handsome guy has spent the majority of his life as a breeding stallion... and has not been driven in countless years. Who knows if he ever was ridden along the way?? That did not stop us from tacking up and heading out on a leisure stroll around the block... all by himself! Love him so much! ❤️

Have you ever met a horse that just captivated you with their undeniable presence, beauty, magnificent size, and charm? Meet Eclipse and you’ll undoubtedly know the sensation. To meet him to is love him.. and to be awestruck by him. Eclipse is a 2002 17.2 registered Belgian Stallion who is sired by the world renowned stallion, Korry’s Captain... the only Belgian ever to be titled the All American Belgian Stallion five times, five consecutive years in a row!! Aside from being blessed with great bloodlines, Eclipse is incredibly well put together. His conformation is stunning... quite refined, elegant, and sporty for a full-blooded draft. He has a beautiful neck that flows seamlessly into his short coupled back and lovely hip and hindend. He is exceptionally leggy for a draft, as well! His face is absolutely gorgeous, with the kindest eye and sweetest expression. To top off his stunning good looks, his naturally curly, bleach-blonde mane and tail (albeit a tiny, docked one), his unique blaze and big white socks/stockings are just icing on the cake!! He is impressive. Plain and simple! Eclipse started his early years being shown in hand and driving with his breeders. He bred several mares for them prior to being sold as a 5-6yr old. He has mainly served as a successful breeding stallion ever since and has easily over a hundred offspring on the ground. While we can easily see why fellow Belgian or draft owners would want to breed their mares to Eclipse... we are extremely excited to see him crossed with lighter mares for Sporthorse crosses!! With his fabulous, uphill conformation and substance, yet relatively light/refined build, we believe he is the ideal match for breeding to mares such as Thoroughbreds, Quarter Horses, Appendix, Warmblood, etc etc. There is nothing clunky about this stunner!! Eclipse is now available to both draft mares, as well as lighter mares being bred for sport. The disposition and temperament of this stallion is second to none. He is as quiet as a church mouse, mannerly as can be, and a total love. You’d never guess he is a stallion... let alone one who has been a very busy breeding stallion his whole life! He is the easiest horse in the barn to handle and work with!! Brains, beauty, size, chrome, movement! He’s truly the package deal!!
