I hope everyone remembers Lombardi, we pulled him from ACCT Philly about 6 weeks ago due to a broken pelvis in about 6 different places. So today he is finally healthy enough to be neutered (thank God). However his neuter is not a typical neuter… he is a crypt orchid meaning one of his testicles is still somewhere in his body cavity. The reason we needed to wait 6 weeks to neuter him was to get him healthy enough for this more invasive surgery, the vet basically has to go search for his missing g***d. It’s pretty much an exploratory surgery at this point. We are also doing a 6 week X-ray to see how his pelvis has healed from strict crate rest. He is also getting microchipped, combo tested and his yucky yucky ears cleaned and worked up. It has been a long road with him and we are still working on socializing, he is just not coming around like we want him to. I am hoping once he’s now neutered and the testosterone leaves his body, he will warm up to us. We just love his cute face so stinking much, I just want him to see that. We would be interested in accepting fosters for him now to work with him one on one!

If anyone can please donate towards his neutering and 6 week X-rays, it would be so appreciated. We have had a lot of expenses in the past two months. Thank you all for believing in him and most importantly thank you for believe in us🙏🏼🐾

Just your daily dose of kitten cuteness🤩 On a side note I’m sure by now everyone has seen that we are hosting a HUGE community event. We are just beyond excited to see everyone at the Calla’s Critter Rescue 2025 Elverson Easter Egg Hunt. This event will be the first of many to create more relationships, more supporters, more adopters… we are really trying to get ourselves out there by throwing an amazing event for the community and surrounding communities. We have had so many people step up so far, it has been beyond amazing to see. However I really do not want to tap into our everyday kitty cat fund to put on this event. Last post of the night & I hope it’s a POWERFUL one that reaches many people, that what we are trying to achieve will help SO many. Electrical and framing for the kitty quarantine shed is in the works tonight thanks to the father-in-law dream team. We have such a wonderful support system it’s unreal. This tiny home is a new beginning and a start to something that won’t just help the kitties but will also help our community. People depend on us to intake sick, abandoned, orphaned, found cats and that’s what we promise to do. Hey everyone! We could really use some donations… the medical bills never stop… kittens never stop getting sick… the influx of cats never stops‼️‼️‼️ This is a group effort that we cannot do alone. Cheez-it was taken to our rescue vet today for ulcers on his lips likely caused by the feline calcivirus. Cats tend to share these lovely viruses with each other and even the vaccine can cause it to “pop” out in their immune systems. He was sent home on pain meds, anti-inflammatory and clavamox antibiotics. THIS IS RESCUE… RESCUE NEVER STOPS. I’m sure you are tired of rescues asking but we are also tired of asking. Please support your local rescues, it makes such a difference. Us small rescues are the ones picking up the slack, picking up the emergency medical cases and going the extra mile for people who need help. This is a critical time for all… PLEASE DONATE🚨

O.M.G. are we in love with this little family. A kind gentleman took in Momma Lea and her little nuggets but reached out to us last weekend to see if we were willing to help find homes for everyone. Everyone is doing so well in their foster home, I’m sure the babies will start eating solid food in no time. If you have it in your hearts to donate please do🙏🏼 We have alot of medical cases right now and a ton of kitties just relinquished. We depend on you to succeed🐾
