These babies lost their mom suddenly and we offered to help the family out. They have to go in pairs or to a home with other parakeets as they are not used to being alone. From now until Jan 5th the $30 adoption fee will be for the pair, not per bird. We have some new and used cages for sale at the shop as well❤️

The hammies are ready for adoption! These guys came from the Amherst Humane Society and are very sweet and easy to handle. There are two 1 year old females and 6 babies available for adoption. Adoption fee is $5 for the moms and $10 for the babies.

It's basically RSV in dogs. There was an outbreak similar a few years back. The biggest problem is it becoming pneumonia, so like any illness, a vet visit is important!

Recommendations are to update your pets kennel cough vaccines, and avoid high traffic pet areas. Especially if your pet is prone to getting sick or older.

Because no one knows what this is at this point, all the vets can do is provide palliative care, so please don't run to your vet demanding they cure your pet. Be patient, listen to their recommendations, and do not try to self medicate. They don't know much more than you do about this disease, but they're here to help. It may take months to clear up, and there is nothing anyone can do about that, even your vet, so don't take out your frustrations on them for not having a cure all.

It's almost Thanksgiving! Please keep these important pet safety tips in mind when it comes to the Thanksgiving feast:

🦃 Do not feed Turkey to pets. It can cause life-threatening pancreatitis.
🍫 Onions, raisins, grapes, and chocolate are not safe for pets.
🍰 Xylitol, an artificial sweetener in baked goods, can be deadly to pets.
🦴 Do not give your dog bones of any kind. These can cause intestinal blockages.
🗑 Make sure all trash is picked up and removed from pets' reach.
🪪 Make sure pets have proper identification. Pets are more likely to get loose with the increase in visitors.

Is anyone interested in adding a turtle to their family? This guy was purchased online by someone then when he arrived they were upset he’s not a little baby. 😔 It’s an adult yellow bellied slider. He will need a private pond or a 100 gallon tank and 200 gallon filter and proper lighting. If you are interested in being his forever home please let me know and I will get you in touch with the lady who was kind enough to take him in until a home was found!

Looking for hamsters? LOOK NO FARTHER!! We took in a whole bunch today for the Amherst Humane Society. 3 Males who will be available for adoption right away, 3 females who we will watch and make sure aren't pregnant before adopting out and 7 babies who will be ready in a week or two for their new homes! Once they are around 4 weeks old.

This adds to our abundance of available rodents up for adoption! If you'd like to make a donation towards food I will post the links below! It is greatly appreciated!

*I do not know which ones are male or female yet as far as the babies go. The adults pictures will be posted in the Available folder. Adoption fee for adults is $5, babies will be $10. We will not hold babies. They'll be posted for adoption with their s*x when they're available *
