When Gravy came in he had such little muscle mass he couldn't use his back legs. With the proper diet, calcium and lights he has overcome his issue and is 100% normal - except now he's a little chunky 🤣

PET/ANIMAL safe ice melt and preventative. Equal parts (depending on the size of the area you need to cover) ice melt and preventative.

Gallon hot water
2-3 TBSP rubbing alcohol
2 TBSP Dawn Dish soap.

You can pre-treat the steps before the ice comes and then spray on them after.. also works well on windshields!

Safe step by sure paws is also a great affordable alternative if you can find it. Lowes and tractor supply normally cart it. It's half the price of the stuff at petco/petsmart.

Soooo I'm going to ask Facebook... do any of you use a messaging app for your pages/businesses? The business page messages are now coming in not in chronological order or being marked as spam automatically so I keep missing messages (sorry to anyone that has affected) trying to find a more efficient way to monitor messages. There used to be a great one for Facebook and texts but it's not available anymore....

Have left overs from your garden this spring and summer? We can help with that! Cucumbers, Melons , Pumpkins, Squash, Tomatoes, Carrots, Strawberries, Apples, Celery, you name is and I am sure SOMETHING here will eat it!

The barking noise is one of our newest rescues from Amherst, an african grey parrot... he doesn't have a name yet but he is fitting in well!

Sometimes my day just consists of arguing with and being yelled at by birds 🤣 (wait till the end) **This is Tiki. He's a 2 year old yellow nape Amazon who's too smart for his own good. He is up for adoption. We recommend a home with no small children and someone with bird experience, just because he's an Amazon. His owner has to rehome him due to medical issues, it is no fault of his own. He's been a great bird here with us. As always you're welcome to come in and meet him or any of the other available animals at anytime. Consignment fee is 2800 with his full cage set up.**

A Pet’s Tale

My vision is to provide new and gently used pet supplies at an affordable price. There is no reason that owning a pet should clear your bank account!

Consignment sales are open for everyone. We accept pet supplies, products, and local art!

All donated items will be sold to raise money for APAW (Amelia Patrons for Animal Welfare) to raise money for their spay/neuter programs and the local shelter.

I am looking for other rescues to partner with as well, so if you are interested, let me know!
