We had the pleasure of seeing these two handsome Great Dane guys the Friday before last--Brewster is a longtime patient and has been featured previously on our Patient of the Week posts, but now he has a new "nephew", Atlas! Atlas joined the family recently and has quickly made himself at home on mom's bed😄🐾💗

Our sweet client sent this message after Jinx's visit yesterday and asked us to share so that other pet parents can hear about how wonderful acupuncture can be for their furbabies:

"Jinx says thank you for making a home visit with us today.
It sure beats a car ride & stressful visit to a veterinary clinic.
Jinx recently turned 19 and is going strong with regular acupuncture & B12 treatments from our wonderful vet Dr. Mathis and assistant Lexi. We appreciate our home visits."

Catching up on some Patient of the Week posts, these two cuties were a delight for their housecall visit a few weeks back! (We also saw their two feline siblings, who declined a photo op😂). Chloe got comfy in Dr. Mathis' lap "helping" with medical notes and Reese was a challenge to get a non-blurry photo of since she is in constant motion😊🐾💗

Catching up on our Patient of the Week posts, we met this super-sweet duo a while back and (as you can see) Sadie thought our medical bag made a perfect bed for her while she dreamed of peanut butter😄 Oliver is a handsome boy who has never met a stranger🥰 We can't wait to visit these two again soon!

Meet Bella the labrador retriever puppy, our Patient of the Week! This little girl is too cute for words--she loved her peanut butter and didn't even notice the vaccine we gave her. We can't wait to watch her grow up!😊💗🐾

Catching up on our Patient of the Week posts! Rosie had been to the vet's office and had trouble holding still for them to get her vaccinations/testing done. She was a bit more relaxed at her home visit and we got her updated on all the things!

This gorgeous girl is Kaia, our Patient of the Week! She is a little uncertain during veterinary visits, but being at home with her mom and getting some Wendy's chicken nuggets as a treat during her exam helped her feel a lot more comfortable😊

Very delayed Patient of the Week post, but this one is worth the wait! Meet Bodie, the French Bulldog puppy🥰😍 This little guy is joining a super-sweet family just in time for Christmas and his sweet personality matches his cuteness level!🐾

Our belated Patient of the Week is Allee the chihuahua! This sweet senior girl was adopted by a wonderful family who will give her the best life ever during her "golden years". She is one lucky lady!

We were so happy to welcome Lexi back from maternity leave last Friday!🤩 Here she is with her "welcome back" flowers and here is the adorable little man who stole her from us for a bit🥰

Our slightly delayed Patient of the Week is Asher, an adorable miniature schnauzer puppy! This little guy was so cute and cuddly during our visit and did not notice the shot we had to give him, thanks to a little peanut butter distraction😉❤️🐾

A HUGE shout-out and thank you to Megan, Dr. Mathis' friend and neighbor, who has been filling in for Lexi while she was on maternity leave!! Megan may not have much previous experience as a vet assistant, but she did an amazing job and was a very pleasant companion to have on the road between housecalls. You are fabulous, Megan, and we appreciate you!🥰💗

We didn’t get a Patient of the Week photo this week, but please do enjoy these gorgeous flowers that a kind family gifted to Dr. Mathis as a thank you for taking care of their sweet pup. Helping families care for their pets in the comfort of their own home is gratifying on its own, but we don’t mind an occasional reminder that our efforts are appreciated😊🥰💗💐
