Meet Butternut, our somewhat shy Patient of the Week! This cute little guy tried to hide behind the pillows to avoid his annual visit, but once we got a hold of him he tolerated his exam/vaccines and even gave us some headbutts🥰🥰

A trio of cuteness for our (slightly belated) Patients of the Week! These three pups could not be more adorable and it was our pleasure to do their exams, rabies vaccinations and toenail trims! No one was a big fan of the nail trim part—especially Snoop!😂🐾

Our Patient of the Week is Ranger, a VERY handsome red heeler mix! We saw him for his annual check up/heartworm test and while he doesn't love what we have to do to him, he sure enjoys his peanut butter! He also always shows us his "baby" (a stuffed raccoon toy), but won't let us get close enough to take it from him😅🐾

Where in the WORLD is Dr. Mathis this week? Well, so far Amsterdam, Netherlands, and Dusseldorf, Germany! Amsterdam was amazing; just got to Dusseldorf last night but we had dinner at the top of the Rheinturm (tall tower in the second to last photo). Our Patient of the Week is Autumn, the Labradoodle puppy! This happy girl was hard to get a photo of because she is in CONSTANT MOTION. She does sit still for treats, but not for long!😅🐾

Ollie has been our Patient of the Week before, but not since 2021 when he was a year old (second photo). We thought he was worth another post, especially because he is our best example of why you should get pet insurance for your pets! Ollie has had some significant health expenses in his 3 short years and luckily his pet parents got coverage for him through Trupanion when he was a pup. Please ask us about insurance for your pet if you want more information!

We have another pair for our Patients of the Week—Frisco and Bodhi! Bodhi is a super-sweet Cockapoo and Frisco is a very handsome hound mix. We enjoyed meeting them for the first time yesterday and got their annual tests and vaccinations all taken care of!
