Catching up on our Patient of the Week posts! Rosie had been to the vet's office and had trouble holding still for them to get her vaccinations/testing done. She was a bit more relaxed at her home visit and we got her updated on all the things!

This gorgeous girl is Kaia, our Patient of the Week! She is a little uncertain during veterinary visits, but being at home with her mom and getting some Wendy's chicken nuggets as a treat during her exam helped her feel a lot more comfortable😊

Very delayed Patient of the Week post, but this one is worth the wait! Meet Bodie, the French Bulldog puppy🥰😍 This little guy is joining a super-sweet family just in time for Christmas and his sweet personality matches his cuteness level!🐾

It was an absolute pleasure to meet this little guy—Gus Gus, our Patient of the Week! Gus Gus is a mini dachshund and joins a family of three doxie siblings. Gotta love a herd of dachshunds!🥰🐾 athomevetdrm

Our belated Patient of the Week is Allee the chihuahua! This sweet senior girl was adopted by a wonderful family who will give her the best life ever during her "golden years". She is one lucky lady!

We were so happy to welcome Lexi back from maternity leave last Friday!🤩 Here she is with her "welcome back" flowers and here is the adorable little man who stole her from us for a bit🥰

Our slightly delayed Patient of the Week is Asher, an adorable miniature schnauzer puppy! This little guy was so cute and cuddly during our visit and did not notice the shot we had to give him, thanks to a little peanut butter distraction😉❤️🐾

A HUGE shout-out and thank you to Megan, Dr. Mathis' friend and neighbor, who has been filling in for Lexi while she was on maternity leave!! Megan may not have much previous experience as a vet assistant, but she did an amazing job and was a very pleasant companion to have on the road between housecalls. You are fabulous, Megan, and we appreciate you!🥰💗

We didn’t get a Patient of the Week photo this week, but please do enjoy these gorgeous flowers that a kind family gifted to Dr. Mathis as a thank you for taking care of their sweet pup. Helping families care for their pets in the comfort of their own home is gratifying on its own, but we don’t mind an occasional reminder that our efforts are appreciated😊🥰💗💐

Happy National Cat Day from At Home Veterinary Care and Matcha, who lives at VCU with Dr. Mathis’ daughter! Matcha is a quirky, cute little thing but definitely ranks high on our list of “spicy” patients😂😈😼

Can you say gorgeous?!? This is Radar, a Great Dane puppy and our Patient of the Week! He weighed in at around 35lbs at his 12-week puppy visit😮 Second photo is him after his exam/vaccinations😴 We can’t wait to watch this guy grow up❤️🐾

Our Patient of the Week is Harley, the sweetest Doodle boy🥰 Harley enjoyed his first acupuncture treatment so much, he curled right up at Dr. Mathis’ feet at his second appointment, ready for his needles! Harley is with a new family after his previous owner passed away, and they are doing every they can to make sure he has the best quality of life possible🥰🐾

Our Patient of the Week is Bane, the sweetest love of an American Bully dog! Not only is he super handsome, but he is a friendly guy who gave us lots of kisses😘 He was just the goodest boy for his annual check up this past week😊😍🐾🐾
