Proud of this mare! Not only was she very green; she arrived with alot of anxiety which lead to overreacting. She’s come a long way! Her confidence and self esteem are shining and she’s become so relaxed. Love this mare’s personality. Been a pleasure to work with! 🫶

Storm - handling feet progress A colt who's going to be started should already have his feet handled for obvious reasons. If it just so happens the horse hasn't, he's going to learn!

Be kind to your trainers. •”We Loose Sleep Over Your Horses -Trying to figure out how to get them working their best -Stressing over them not being as far ahead as we would like -Thinking of ways to help your riding, better ways to explain, watching videos for inspiration •We Work NONstop -Out at the barn more than in the house -Making phone calls giving updates -Watching other trainers videos -Riding Sundays if your horse is having a hard time •Each Horse Has Their Own Timeline -some horses may pick something up in a week, others will take months -they all have strengths and weaknesses -we can not force them to do what we want, exactly the way we want, in the time frame we want. Horses are herd animals and haven’t evolved to be separated from other horses. Thats something we have to factor in when we are teaching them to tie. Horses have also evolved to fight against restraint. So being taught to accept restraint is something that we have to do.
