Long live the King… now let’s talk about it shall we? My very first Cane Corso breeding was in 2012 when I bred my Bella to Gr.Ch. Leonitis Big Show Sargent. From that litter there was Cane. He did what he did… 24 straight best of breeds and between April 2014-September 2014 he reached #6 in the AKC breed rankings and he had beaten every dog in the top 10 in his short career except the #1 dog at the time who he never competed against… GCH CH Campo's Petros Zeus… who was on the west coast. What beat Cane? His failed health. He started having seizures. Let’s dig deep into this. I was told to make sure that Cane was to go Florida and compete at the National championships. Tony Scandy himself told me to make sure he goes. But my handlers informed me they had no intentions of taking Cane to Florida. So I made arrangements to switch handlers and hired one. Mr. Strong… and soon as this happens and arrangements were made to meet and get Cane I got the call from those handlers that Cane had a seizure. This was early September. Those handlers took him to 4 shows and competed with him after this first seizure. I was told he must be put down because he would kill someone possibly coming out of a seizure… this was what I was told but yet that’s a video of Cane having a seizure with his handler sitting in the floor with him with his head in her lap as he was recovering from a seizure… I saw this video a couple years later actually didn’t even know the video existed… but anyway by October he was put down. All coincidences? Sure. Timing of this an issue for me? Absolutely it was. I’d be lying if I say otherwise. Am I suggesting anything foul… no I’m not. I’m just stating what happened. What would I do different? I would have gotten that dog back and did my own due diligence on him Ave his condition. Especially seeing that video posted online a couple years later because I was involved with helping Juan Morato get his dog XMAN back. So with all this being said idiopathic epilepsy means “unknown cause of the seizures” idiopathic epilepsy victims in dogs are known to live normal lives on medication. But I’m told Cane was blind, deaf , delusional, and terminal so he was humanly put to rest. He never made it back to me… so I’ll never know if he wouldn’t eaten me alive… like he didn’t do his handlers in that video. I’ll never know what actually happened to him but I claiming it to be cancer. So… there we have it. Now… Tell these people something they don’t know about me. I know the American Whatchumacallit committee wants to bring this up.

The K9 genome project… a very helpful study to help educate newcomers to the Cane Corso of the difference between the the Cane Corso Italiano and the so called American Cane Corso… (American Whatchumacallit)
Take note:
This study tells you what breeds were used to develop the Cane Corso as a breed. In Italy’s lineages it’s close to a breed… It’s a concept. But in the USA’s lineages it classified as not a breed at all. They are indeed 2 different dogs.

People don’t want to face the truth… they want to kill the messager. They want to talk about my behavior and call it distasteful. To me… we in the USA have an imposter dog wearing Cane Corso face. And these dogs wearing Cane Corso face produce some really good looking Rottweilers… It’s offensive to me too parade these dogs as Real Cane Corsos. And this should be offensive to every Cane Corso breeder and enthusiast. And we must educate the new members coming to this breed to join our fraternity in developing and preserving our breed. So let’s do this. Everybody that knows of a “Corso” that has bitten, mauled or even killed someone here in the USA find out the breeder or origin of this particular dog that did that act. Let’s put it out there the lineage of said dogs. I’ll bet bottom dollar it would have American Whatchumacallit blood in it… as a matter of fact you can send me the info I’ll put it out there you can stay anonymous.

I do not state opinions. I state facts. And it’s because I’ve worked hard to produce and (along with my partners) acquire quality dogs that I feel I have a voice. So I’ll continue to state facts when defending the breed. And because of the quality over here I’ll be the bully. Like it or don’t like it learn to love it. Blocking me only proves we’re not ready for these conversations.
