Knox Farm is a sporthorse breeding and training farm located in the beautiful Portneuf Valley of Southeastern Idaho. We specialize in Connemara ponies and horses and Connemara X Thoroughbred sporthorses. They are tough, sound, sane and friendly. 30 years. Knox Farm horses have won all over North America in Eventing, Dressage, Show Jumping and Combined Driving. We understand the needs of juniors, amateurs, and Pony Clubbers as well as the competitive professional and are dedicated to matching our clients with the horse or pony which will best suit their riding or driving goals and level of horsemanship. Knox Farm is comprised of 150 acres and is surrounded by tens of thousands of acres of Caribou National Forest and BLM lands. The main barn includes a 100’ x 204’ indoor riding arena with dust free footing, large box stalls with runs, two tack rooms, wash stall and grooming areas, veterinary treatment area, and a bunkhouse with full kitchen, laundry and shower and a picture window to the arena. There are two sand outdoor arenas. One is 120’x 240’ used mainly as a show jumping arena; the other is 200’x 330’ and can accommodate a full sized driving dressage arena. Surrounding the sand arenas is a large grass area of several acres, suitable for driving, polocrosse or a jumping derby course. The thirty acre cross country jumping field has a half mile gallop track and a cross country jumping course which includes banks, ditches, a water obstacle, and various other natural jumps from simple logs to more advanced fences. Large hay fields around the farm have trails for riding and driving. Combined driving obstacles are situated around the property. Twelve pastures and paddocks each have loafing sheds and Nelson heated automatic waterers. Each field is individually fenced with lanes between pastures.
