This poor pup! I will never understand why someone would do something this cruel to an innocent animal. We have a client who rescued a dog that had been abused similar to this puppy. She had the scars around her muzzle the rest of her life from someone using duct tape to tape her muzzle closed, among other unthinkable cruel things. Thankfully, she was saved, like this pup, and lived a happy and well loved life once she learned to trust humans again.

Help Wheeler, and show Two Tailz Rescue that they are not alone in their quest to save animals. Two Tailz Rescue is a rescue located in Roswell, GA. More pets go missing on the 4th of July than any other day of the year! Please take a little time to make sure that your pets are safe and secure all day July 4, 2022!

Frightened by the loud booms of fireworks, pets will try to escape, which can include digging under and jumping over fences.

When pets are not aware of where the loud noises come from, their natural inclination is to run away.

The following ideas are suggested to keep your pet safe:

•Keep your pets INDOORS during fireworks, and make sure all doors/windows are shut and locked.

•If hosting a 4th of July party, make sure pets are in a secure room so they can't slip out of the doors.

•Turn on the TV or relaxing music to help distract your pets from the loud blasts outside.

•Make sure your pet's Microchip and Collar ID's are up to date.
This is the fastest way to reconnect you and your pet if you are separated.

•Keep your pet distracted with an interactive toy, like a KONG toy filled with peanut butter (frozen overnight so that it lasts longer)!
