Also, I am closed until at least Wednesday. We've already gotten at least 6" of snow since around 3pm this afternoon (it's almost 7:30pm now) and it's still coming down! My van has been relocated to a heated building to prevent anything from breaking due to the upcoming freezing temperatures. Stay warm and safe this week.

I'm thinking about closing next week, at the very least from Monday through Wednesday, due to extremely cold weather. My concern is things freezing either on the way to appointments or while at the appointments. I'll definitely keep in touch but wanted to give everyone a heads up so it's not a surprise. Stay warm everyone.

Well, I dropped my phone today and, you guessed it, broke the screen AGAIN. I'll be looking at getting it fixed tomorrow but in the mean time, if you're sending me texts or emails, I won't be able to access them until it's fixed. I'm sorry for any inconvenience.

I just wanted to remind everyone that I only accept cash or checks at the time of service. There is an online scam going around stating that prepayment is required through Venmo only, and it's not the groomers, salons or mobile groomers sending it. They are using the salon's name / mobile company's name / the groomer's name. Most of my existing clients know how inept I am with technology, which is why I only accept cash and checks, but newer clients might not have heard my story of deleting the desktop computer's hard drive... three... separate... times. At any rate, I wanted to let everyone know about this new scam so that you can protect yourselves.

FYI - yesterday I dropped my work phone and the screen broke. I just dropped it off to be fixed and it should be done by tomorrow afternoon. I do not have access to any texts, emails or calls until tomorrow. Thanks for your patience on this matter.

Just a reminder that appointments during the winter are weather permitting. If schools are closed in my area, your area and/or cities in between us, rescheduling may be the only answer. I always try to keep to the schedule, but I won't take unnecessary risks.

I hope that everyone is okay after the storm yesterday. We are fine, however we don't have electricity, like most people I'm guessing. The way that the electrical poles, wires and trees fell, I'm not able to get my grooming van out of my street - the hanging wires are too low for my tall van. Right after the storm, no vehicles were able to enter or exit my street for several hours. Until this changes, unfortunately I'll have to reschedule all appointments for this week. I'm so sorry for the inconvenience.
