CHESTERTOWN | Through a volunteer effort, plans are progressing to establish a pleasant, accommodating dog park in Chestertown, and donations are now being sought to bring the project to fruition.

Yard Sale to Benefit the Town of Chester Dog Park

DATE: Friday - Sunday, October 1 - 3, 2021
HOURS: 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
LOCATION: Mountain Storage, next to Mountain Hardware at 6260 US-9 in Chestertown

We are looking for yard-sale item donations for our upcoming sale!

Maybe this would be a great time to clean out your basement, attic, and/or garage! No donation is too small--together these items will help make a great sale that offers something for everyone!

One-hundred percent of the sales will go toward the fencing for the dog park. If you have any items that you would like to donate for this fundraiser, please call/text one of the Advisory Committee members listed below to coordinate a date and time to drop off.

If you are unable to drop your items off for any reason (e.g., no vehicle, items too heavy), please let us know, and we will do our very best to come to you.

PLEASE NOTE: Since we won’t have storage space available after the event, we ask that you only donate items in good condition that would be considered desirable enough for a purchaser. All unsold items at the end of the day on Sunday will be donated to an applicable worthy cause.

Whether you have items to donate or not, please come shop our sale! Surely, there will be at least one thing you absolutely cannot live without!

The Town of Chester has kindly approved a dog park in town.

Now it is time to come together to help raise awareness along with funds for fencing.
