Frozen Chicken Broth Bone Treats
Ingredients
- 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth (ensure it is onion- and garlic-free)
- 1/4 cup plain unsweetened yogurt (optional, for added creaminess)
Instructions
1. Pour the low-sodium chicken broth into a mixing bowl.
2. If using yogurt, whisk it into the chicken broth until fully blended.
3. Carefully pour the mixture into silicone molds or an ice cube tray. Bone-shaped molds are great for dog treats, but any mold will work.
4. Tap the molds gently on the counter to remove any air bubbles.
5. Place the molds in the freezer and let the treats freeze for 3-4 hours, or until fully solid.
6. Once frozen, pop the treats out of the molds and serve to your dog as a refreshing snack.
Storage
Store in an airtight container or resealable bag in the freezer for up to 2 months.

Blueberry Yogurt Swirl Dog Treats

Ingredients
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 1/2 cup plain unsweetened yogurt (non-dairy options like coconut yogurt can also be used)
- 1 tablespoon honey (optional, for natural sweetness)

Instructions
1. Blend the blueberries in a blender or food processor until smooth.
2. In a mixing bowl, combine the blueberry puree, yogurt, and honey (if using) until well mixed.
3. Spoon the mixture into silicone molds, ideally in a fun design like the rose shapes in the image.
4. Freeze the molds for at least 3 hours or until the treats are fully set.

🦠Leptospirosis is an infection of Lepto bacteria. Found in the urine of infected mice, rats, racoons, skunks and possums, this bacteria gets excreted into the environment.
Dogs are most often infected by drinking from a contaminated water source. The bacteria then targets the liver and kidneys, leading to serious illness and sometimes death.
You can prevent infection with an annual lepto vaccine and booster, good for dogs over 12 weeks old.
