Tonight on a very special episode of …

Swirley and Squeakers, our very own Uncle Jesse and Uncle Joey, are ready to trade in Playroom A for prime time in your living room. These three-year-old tabby brothers have been running the kitten room like a sitcom set, keeping chaos in check, helping the shy ones shine, and winning over the audience (staff, volunteers, and every kid who comes through the door).

Swirley is the Uncle Jesse of the duo: cool, affectionate, and obsessed with having a sidekick. He LOVEEEEEES other cats and would be happiest with a furry friend.
Squeakers is the Uncle Joey: goofy, lovable, and easygoing. He’s happy as your one and only or with another cat pal to share the spotlight.

Both boys are child stars in their own right, gentle with a staff member’s one-year-old child, who visits often. They’ve even lived with dogs before, proving they can handle a crossover episode.

So why are they still waiting in the wings? Maybe because they’re “just” tabbies, maybe because they don’t always photograph like heartthrobs. But the best characters aren’t always the flashiest; they’re the ones who make you feel at home.

One meet-and-greet with Swirley and Squeakers and you’ll be saying, “Cut. It. Out.” to the idea of leaving without them.

Meet Banjo – the dashing gentleman who looks like he’s always ready for a black-tie event! Not only is he handsome, but he’s also incredibly smart. Banjo knows plenty of commands like recall and roll over, and he’s already attended a training class with his previous Owner before coming to us.

This well-rounded boy is dog-friendly, loves toys, and is always happy to work for a tasty treat. With his good manners, smarts, and charming personality, Banjo is about as close to perfect as they come.

If you’re looking for a loyal, well-trained companion who can turn every day into a special occasion, Banjo is your guy!

Just like her name, this 9-month-old pit bull is sweet on the inside and beautiful on the outside with her stunning blue and white coat. M-n-M can be a little shy at first, but once she warms up, she’ll melt your heart—especially if you hand her a rope toy (her absolute favorite!).

She’s house trained, did wonderfully on her crate test, and with consistency will happily relax in her crate. M-n-M enjoys being around other dogs, though she’s still figuring out how to start playtime. She’s also good with kids, though loud noises can sometimes make her a little nervous.
