•Samantha Smith had a busy weekend catch riding for multiple people! Her results were as follows:
•Sam showed the lovely Edgewood’s Wonder for Oceans Edge Farm. They finished up as champions in the 3’3 small jr hunters after two class wins over fences! The pair also won the combined jr hunter classic with scores of 86 and 84!!
•Sam was lucky enough to be reunited with her pony medal finals mount, Sports Illustrated for Redfield farm where the pair took home the reserve championship ribbon after earning a 1st, 2nd, 5th and 5th over fences as well as a 2nd in the classic out of approximately 20 lovely ponies!
•Sam showed the stunning Shalom for Tom Lamberti and Jeffrey Dicarlo and earned a 1st and 2nd over fences in the 3’3 small jr hunters as well as champion in the 3’3 modified jr hunters after two class wins!
•Sam showed Nimius for Tom Lamberti and Jeffrey Dicarlo to another championship in the 12-14 equitation after winning two classes as well as a 5th in the Hamel and a 7th in the USHJA jump seat medal out of 20+!
•Sam showed her own Jethro to a score in the 80’s in the THIS medal!
The biggest THANK YOU to Fallen Oak Farm, Redfield Farm and Oceans Edge Farm for allowing Sam to have the rides on these very special horses!

HITS IV
•Avery Posada showed Up All Night to a 3rd, 6th and 7th in the medium pony hunters out of 27 very talented ponies!
•Maria Frankel and Avalon took home a 4th, 6th and 6th out of a huge group in the modified adult hunters and then continued on to the 2’6 adult equitation where they earned a 3rd, 4th, 4th and 5th!
•Layla Bowlin had great rounds in the small pony hunters as well as earning an 8th in the WIHS pony medal out of 20+!!

•Avery Daboll crushed her second show with Ironwood’s Prestige taking home a 2nd and 5th in the walk trot pole division as well as a 2nd, 4th and 7th in the beginner walk trot!
•Lennon Fuchs received the champion ribbon in the short stirrup hunters after earning a pair of 1st places, a 2nd and a 5th! The pair also took home three 3rd places and a 4th in the short stirrup eq!
•Natalie Gambourg made her way back into the show ring and earned reserve champion after placing 1st, 3rd, 3rd and 4th in the Saugerties children’s hunters! They also took home a 4th, 5th and 8th in the pre children’s hunters out of huge groups!

HITS IV
We were so happy to be back at HITS for the summer series! Week IV is a wrap and we had some amazing results! Our children’s hunters absolutely crushed it!
•Stella Stephan showed SLS Wicked Smaht in the older children’s where the pair took home the champion ribbon after earning a 1st, 2nd and 5th over fences and a 3rd in the hack out of about 20 entries! The pair also finished up 2nd in the combined children’s hunter classic after scoring an 86.5!!
•Iris Jones showed Frosted to a WIN in the older children’s hunters as well as earning a 6th in the hack out of about 20 entries!
•Sydney Smith showed her own Samba in the younger children’s to a 5th, 6th, 7th, 7th out of over 20 entries! The pair also picked up a 6th in the combined classic!

Samantha Smith had another great week of showing!
•Sam was given the ride on the most lovely equitation horse, Nimius where the pair swept the 12-14 equitation and then went on to take a 2nd out of 19 in the Hamel! He is going to be a special one! The biggest thank you to Jeffery Dicarlo and Tom Lamberti for the ride on this special horse!
•Sam was given the opportunity to catch ride a large pony in the USHJA hunter derby where she rode to a 3rd place after scoring an 86 on Why Not? A huge thank you to the team Oceans Edge, Jenn Bowery and Rose Kouzoujian for allowing Sam to show such an indelible pony!
•Sam also showed her own Jethro to a 2nd in the THIS medal!

Our pony hunters and their kids made us so proud in every round they took on!
•Starting with the small pony hunters, Layla Bowlin showed Shenandoah Sirocco to ribbons in every class over fences in the small pony hunters! The pair also took home a 6th in the WIHS pony medal!
•Moving into the mediums, Avery Posada showed her girl Up All Night to top ribbons in every class of the medium pony hunters including a pair of 3rd placed, a pair of 4th places and a 5th! The pair also took home a 6th in the USEF pony medal and a 7th in the combined pony hunter classic!
•Finally, we went up to the larges where Ella Botta made her debut at the new height showing the best boy Kudos where the earning a 7th and 8th over fences in the hunters and a 3rd in the USEF pony medal!!

Hits spring has come to a close and we had another phenomenal week of showing!
Our children’s pony hunters each took home great ribbons!
•Brielle Diamond rode Elvenstar Ping Pong took home a pair of blues to finish as reserve champion in the large children’s pony hunter, marking their second week in a row with a tricolor! The pair also took home a 3rd in the medal!
•Piper Mahan and Paddington took home multiple ribbons in the small/medium children’s pony hunters as well as a 9th in the combined children’s pony hunter classic out of a huge group!
•Sydney Weiner showed her Sunseeker to a pair of 2nd places as well as a 3rd, 4th and 6th in the large children’s pony hunters! The duo also took home a 4th in the medal and an 11th in the combined children’s pony hunter classic!

The last group of the week had all great rounds in the pre children’s hunters and the Saugerties children’s hunters!
•Tyler Halperin showed Chellestino to 2nd, 3rd over fences and a 6th in the under saddle in the pre children’s hunters! On Sunday the pair showed in the Saugerties children’s hunters where they earned a 2nd and 6th over fences and a 3rd in the hack!
•Alessandra Starkman and Royal Rugby took home a 2nd, 5th, and 7th over fences as well as an 8th in the under saddle in the pre children’s! Day two the duo showed in the Saugerties children’s where they picked up a 3rd and 4th as well as a 4th in the under saddle!
•Silas Halperin rode Colorful in the pre children’s to a 2nd 5th, and 8th over fences and a 7th in the hack! In the Saugerties children’s, the pair took home a win, a 4th and 6th over fences and a 6th in the under saddle!

We couldn’t be more proud of our pony hunters! •Avery Posada and Up All Night came to dazzle earning a 3rd in a highly competitive USEF pony medal as well as earning a 2nd and a pair of 7th places in the medium pony hunters! The pair also took home 7th in the WIHS pony medal!!
•Layla Bowlin and Shennandoah Sirocco took home an 8th in the USEF pony medal and finished with a 7th over fences in the small pony hunters out of a very competitive group!

Our adult ladies (including Shelby) each had wonderful rounds in their respective classes!
•Maria Frankel showed Avalon to another championship, this time in the 2’6 adult equitation after winning a class over fences as well as a 2nd and 3rd over fences and a 2nd on the flat! The pair also earned a 6th over fences in the modified adult hunters!
•Jill Shiffman showed Calamaris Z to a 3rd out of a huge group in the Ariat! The pair also took home a 4th and 8th in the older adult equitation and finished up 7th in a tough THIS adult medal!
•Caitlin O’Neill showed Conlin S to a 3rd, 4th, 6th and 8th in the middle adult hunters! The pair also picked up a 5th in the adult equitation!

•Shelby Cashman showed Alice Kim’s Calvanos in the USHJA national hunter derby and hung in to the second until the very end. The pair also had lovely rounds in the 3’3 performance hunters! Thanks Alice for the ride on the most special boy!

Continuing with the children’s pony hunters we had great success in the small/mediums as well!
•Savanna Petrone made her debut on her new ride SKS Ledoux! The pair took home a 3rd and 7th in the hunters! They went on to take home an 8th in the medal! What a great first show together!!
•Piper Mahan showed Paddington to a 3rd, 4th and 6th over fences in the hunters! The duo also took home an 8th in the combined classic after scoring an 81! Great riding!!

HITS 2 was nothing short of fantastic! Our large children’s pony kid’s absolutely crushed it last weekend!
•Brielle Diamond and Elvenstar Ping Pong took two wins, a 2nd and a 3rd over fences plus a 4th in the under saddle to help secure their champion ribbon in the hunters! The pair also took home a 2nd in the combined classic out of a huge group after earning an 84 and a 3rd in the medal!!
•Sienna Petrone showed More Like It in only half of the division and made their day of showing count! The pair won the large children’s pony medal as well as earning a pair of 4th places over fences!! Great riding!!

Our pony palooza continued with great success!
•Lennon Fuchs made her horse show debut on hr new mount Cherish a memorable one! The pair earned 2 champion ribbons after dominating the short stirrup equitation and the short stirrup hunters! In the hunters Lennon and Cherish swept the division winning every single class!!
•Hadassa only got to show one day but made the most of it! Hadassa and Woodlands Gardenia finished up as reserve champions of the long stirrup hunters after winning a class and earning 2nd in the rest of classes of the division!
•Layla Bowlin rocked the small pony hunters earning three 3rd places and two 4th places out of a very competitive group! The pair also earned 2nd place in the Washington pony medal!

We were back at HITS this week and our horses were clearly happy to be there!!
•The week kicked off with our newest member of the barn Sender Van De Heemstede owned by Liany Farinas-Han with Shelby in the irons showing in the 3’ greens. The pair picked up multiple 2nd and 3rd places out of a great group of horses!
•Up next was Maria Frankel who took home a Reserve champion ribbon after earning a 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th! The pair also earned top ribbons in the 2’6 adult equitation! Shelby also showed Avalon to a reserve champion ribbon after only showing in half of the division but earning the blue in both classes of the training hunters!

Last but not least, the girls rocked it in their respective equitation divisions! Avery Posada showed Up All Night in the 2’6 modified children’s equitation to practice for her handys and medals! The pair did an amazing job showing against a lovely group earning a 3rd, 5th and 6th and then took home a 4th in the medal!
Samantha Smith took Jethro to show just in the Hamel and took the win out of 11! Great riding Sam!

Sasha Melman made her horse show debut a great one! Sasha showed our Hillcrest Smokey Joe to a 2nd, 6th, 7th and 8th in the short stirrup out of a large group!
Alessandra Starkman and Royal Rugby took home a pair of 2nd places and a 4th in the low pony hunters! They also earned a 6th out of 20 in the schooling hunters!

Our small/medium children’s pony girls also had a fantastic day of showing! Layla Bowlin showed Shenandoah Sirocco to an 8th in the combined medal out of a huge group, a 1st, 6th and 8th in the small/medium children’s hunters and a 9th in the combined classic! Layla also earned her first 80!
Piper Mahan and Paddington had another great day earning a 7th in the combined medal, a 3rd, 3rd and 7th in the small/medium children’s pony hunters and a 9th in the combined classic!
Sam also showed Paddington to a 1st and 2nd in the schoolings and took home champ out of 20!

We had an amazing last weekend showing at OSF! Our large children’s pony girls absolutely crushed it! Brielle Diamond showed Elvenstar Ping Pong to a 2nd in the combined s/m/l medal out of a large group! The pair then took home a 2nd, 4th and 4th in the large children’s hunters and finished the day with an 8th in the combined classic!
Ella Botta and Kudos had another amazing day taking home a 3rd on the combined medal and a clean sweep of the large children’s hunters once again as well as securing the win in the combined classic!

Avery Posada showed with some stiff competition in the medium pony hunters on Up All Night and made us so proud! The pair took home great ribbons in every class over fences as well as a 4th in the USEF pony medal! We can’t wait to watch this pair at pony finals this year!!
