So unbelievably proud of Sam and Finn at their first Hamel finals as a pair! They unfortunately missed the second round by 3 spots but finished 27th overall out of 186 but we could not be happier with them! Congratulations on an amazing indoors season!

HITS VIII
Samantha Smith ended her summer at HITS with some top tier riding! •Sam piloted Cody Wooten’s Providence to the blue ribbon in all three 3’3 medals which included the USHJA jump seat medal, the USHJA hunter seat medal, and the Hamel! The pair also took home a 2nd in the THIS and finished 6th overall in the $50,000 USHJA Jr national hunter derby! Again, we can’t thank @codywooten__ enough for sharing the most special “Kevin” with us!•Sam rode Small Party for @makotofarm_ and rode right to the top of the large pony hunters winning most of the classes in the division! The pair also scored an 88 in the second round of the classic! Thank you so much Liz Reilly for allowing Sam to ride the most special girl “Lulu”!!#saddleriverequestrian #teamSRE

•Charlotte Wilkinson and Untouchable had quite a winning weekend! The pair took home the blue in the Bit O Straw and the Novice child hunter classic! They also took home two wins in the low child hunters to finish up as champion! Lastly, the pair took home a 3rd in the 2’6 child medal!•Stella Stephan showed SLS Wicked Smaht to a 2nd, 4th, 5th, 6th and 8th in the 3’3 jr hunters their second time as a pair in this division! HITS is a wrap for 2024! We had the best 8 weeks of showing and cannot thank everyone enough for helping make it so successful! Shelby Cashman had a great two weeks of showing at HITS VII & VIII!•Shelby and SLS Wicked Smaht picked up a 4th and a pair of 5th places in the 3’3 greens out of a lovely group of horses! •Shelby and Calvanos and put down super rounds in the 3’3 performance hunters! •Shelby showed Liany Farinas-Han’s Sender van de Heemsteede to a 4th, 6th and 8th out of a competitive group of 3’ greens! #saddleriverequestrian #teamSRE

Samantha Smith had another fantastic week of showing!•Sam and the best boy Pacific Heights finally made their way back into the show ring after over a year of a hiatus for “Finn” and he looked so happy to be back out there! The pair took home a 2nd in the Hamel and a 3rd in the USHJA jump seat! We are so excited to see what Sam and “Kevin” accomplish over the next few weeks!! •Carolyn Manus showed her new mount MTM Jewel to a 2nd and 3rd in the low children’s hunters as well as a 7th in the novice children’s hunter classic!
•Iris Jones was unfortunately only able to show one day but made the most of it by placing 3rd out of a large group in the older children’s hunters on Frosted!
•Sydney Smith showed her own Samba to great ribbons in every class of the younger children’s hunters!
•Sophia Garofalo and Bacardi R took home great ribbons in every class of the cross rail hunters and cross rail eq including a 2nd over fences! #saddleriverequestrian #teamSRE

•Stella Stephan had another super weekend on her two horses SLS Wicked Smaht and Tribeca!•Stella moved up to the 3’3 large jrs on “Cam” and finished up with three 4th places, a 6th and an 8th out of 17! They also took home a 4th in the classic combined e classic! We are excited to see the future of this pair!
•Stella and “Ella” took home ribbons three of the classes over fences as well as a 6th in the under saddle in the 3’3 small jr hunters!
•Samantha Smith had a quiet week just showing her own Jethro. The pair took champion once again in the 12-14 equitation after a class win and two 2nd places over fences!#saddleriverequestrian #teamSRE

Shelby Cashman had a great week of showing on Calvanos, SLS Wicked Smaht and Sender Van De Hemsteede!•”Cam” and Shelby score 84 & 85 in the 3’3 greens to take top ribbons out of some unbelievable hunters!
•”Calvin” and Shelby had super rounds in the 3’3 performance hunters and a stellar round in the USHJA national derby scoring in the 80’s!

Samantha Smith had another winning weekend aboard a handful of lovely horses and ponies! •Sam rode Sunseeker to a 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 7th in the large pony hunters! •Sam rode Sports Illustrated to a win in the larges as well as a 3rd in the combined classic out of 35 after scoring an 85 & 85.5!•Sam paired with Edgewood Wonder once again and they showed they are quite a pair! The took home champion for a second week in a row after placing top 3 in every class of the division including a win in the handy! The pair also took home a 4th in the classic out of 28!•Lastly, Sam partnered with Glenmore Rum and earned a 1st, 3rd and 4th in the mediums as well as a 12th in the combined classic!Endless thank you’s to the Weiner family, Redfield Farm, Oceans Edge Farm and Heritage Farm for allowing Sam to ride your special ponies and horses!
