Later in the day the 2’6 girls ended up champion and reserve champion in the modified child/adult equitation! •Ella Botta took home another champion ribbon on Providence after sweeping the division! •Avery Posada and Wish List finished up right behind with 2nd places across the board earning reserve champion! •Last but not least, Julianna Sugar and Loafers Lodge Edward finished up reserve champions in the walk trot after taking home a 1st and a pair of 2nd places! Great job ladies!

On Sunday, we wrapped up another great weekend of showing at Old Salem! The children’s pony crew absolutely crushed it!•Piper Mahan swept the division between her two ponies! On Paddington she finished up champion after two class wins and a 2nd! On Power Trip she finished up reserve champion after earning a 1st, 3rd and 4th! Piper also took 2nd in the children’s pony medal! •Brielle Diamond started with a bang winning the children’s pony medal! Brielle and Elvenstar Ping Pong tackled the children’s pony hunters and earned a 2nd as well as a pair of 3rd places! Great job girls!!

We had a great day at Old Salem yesterday! The pony hunters rocked it!
•Avery Posada kicked the day off with a 2nd in the combined USEF pony medal and then followed it up with a 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th in the combined medium/large pony hunters on Up All Night!
•Ella Botta and Kudos finished up with a 3rd in the combined USEF pony medal and then in the combined medium/large ponies the pair took home a 2nd, 2nd, 5th and 6th!
•Sydney Weiner moved up to the large greens for the first time with her own Sunseeker and earned champion after winning two classes and taking 2nd in the other two classes!
•Samantha Smith catch rode Cardoba 73 in the large 3’3 junior hunters and won every class including the classic and finish up champion! Thank you so much to our friends at West Lane for giving Sam the ride!

Last up was our children’s pony hunters!
•Sydney Weiner piloted her own Sunseeker to her third championship in a row after winning every class over fences plus a 2nd in three under saddle! The pair also took home the win in the classic! We can’t wait to see this pair move up to the large regulars at the next show!
•Piper Mahan ended up reserve champion right behind her barn mate after earning the win in the under saddle and 2nd, 3rd and 4th over fences aboard Paddington! The duo also took 3rd in the classic!
•Piper also showed her newer mount Power Trip to a 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 4th as well as a 4th in the classic!
Great job girls!!

Avery Posada had a winning day on the two baby ponies! She swept the low pony hunters on Wish List at his second show out ending up champion! Following right behind she showed our Loafers Lodge Edward in his debut jumping at a show and finished 2nd in every class to finish as reserve champions!
Avery also showed her girl Up All Night to a 2nd in the 2’6 child/adult medal as well as a 3rd, 3rd and 4th in the modified 2’6 equitation!

Another stellar day was had yesterday showing at Old Salem Farm!
Our mini stirrup kids knocked it out of the park earning champion and reserve champion!
•Julianna Sugar and our Loafers Lodge Edward finished up with a pair of blues plus a 3rd to finish up champion!
•Anne and our Sir Harvey took home a 1st as well as a pair of 2nd places to end up reserve champion!
Way to go girls!!

A big congratulations going out to Sasha Melman on the lease of Woodland’s Gardenia! We are so excited to keep this special pony in the barn to teach another kid the ropes! Looking forward to seeing this pair in the show ring!

*Equestrian Winter Camp*

We are offering a winter riding program on Saturdays, from 2:30-4:00 from February 22nd - June 7th. Our riders range from first time beginners to advanced. Each rider will be placed in lesson groups with kids of similar ages and abilities.

Riders will have a half-hour riding lesson along with a one-hour stable management lesson. During the stable management lesson, riders will have a hands-on opportunity to learn about all the aspects of horse care and proper safety. It is recommended that riders sign up for multiple weeks at a time as learning will continue to grow over the weeks.

The last group of the day was the 2’6 modified child/adult equitation. Our three pairs crushed it out of 18!•Ella Botta debuted on her new horse Providence and finished up champion after earning a 1st, 2nd and 8th!•Avery Posada and Up All Night tackled the group of horses that they were competing against by earning a 5th and 6th!•Jill Shiffman and Christoph BCVC took home a win in the division over fences plus earned 3rd in the 2’6 child/adult medal! Way to go ladies!

The children’s pony kids had a super day of showing! •Piper Mahan made her debut on her new pony Power Trip a winning one taking the blue in the combined child pony medal! The pair also took home a 2nd, 3rd and 5th in the hunters as well as a 2nd in the classic! •Piper and her long time partner Paddington also had a great day taking home a 2nd, 3rd and 5th as well as a 4th in the classic! •Sydney Weiner and her boy Sunseeker took home yet another champion ribbon after earning a 1st, 2nd and 4th! The pair also took home 3rd in the medal and classic! Great job girls!!

Another fabulous day at Old Salem for the SRE crew! We had a day filled with lots of new pairs and first timers and everyone made us so proud! •Rivers Edge’s Wish List made his horse show debut a winning one by earning reserve champion with Shelby in the irons in the schooling hunters out of 20! Avery Posada took the reins and followed suit by earning the blue in the low pony hunters! The pair also took home a 3rd and 5th! We are so excited for “Dreamy’s” future! •Anne had her first horse show outing and made it one to remember! Anne and Sir Harvey took the win in two classes plus a 3rd in the walk trot to finish up overall as champion! Congrats girls!!

We were back at it yesterday at Old Salem with a few and they all could not have been any better! •Piper Mahan kicked the day off with a reserve champion in the small/medium children’s pony hunters after earning a 2nd and a pair of 3rds on Paddington! The pair also won the child pony medal and took 4th in the combined children’s pony classic! •Sydney Weiner showed her own Sunseeker to a champion ribbon in the large children’s pony hunters after wining a class and taking two 2nds in the rest of the division. The pair also won the children’s pony classic as well as a 4th in the child pony medal! •Jill Shiffman made her debut on her new mount Christoph K a winning one! The pair took home the champion ribbon in the modified child/adult eq after winning all 3 classes! The pair also won the 2’6 child/adult medal! We’re so excited for this pairs future!

•February 1-2 (Schedule is not posted yet. Once it is, we will update everyone on which of the two days we will be going)
•February 13-15 (we will be going all three days, but check with Randi on which of the days you will be showing)
